Guys, we need to make sure that all of these trade scenarios keep the Hawks under the cap. There's no way the Hawks can make moves going over the cap without Belkin's consent.... If I were Belkin I'd feel like a jackass right now.. "How dare the Hawks give up a first round draft pick that they might get back and Boris Diaw for Joe Johnson." "How dare they trade that pick they got back and a couple other players for Amare Stoudamire." I wouldn't shake his hand either, Billy.

Correct. Amare is the only "superstar" here. Pau Gasol is an incredible player, but he's not a "superstar". Wow, if this franchise can land AMARE...Ahh, 25 points and 10+ rebounds per game with Joe's 25... Why does everything else in the world seem so meaningless right now? haha.

Did anyone just see Bucher on ESPN? He said the Minnesota deal with Los Angeles was dead (obviously, we all know that). He went on to say that they even attempted to get Atlanta involved, taking their #3 and #11 picks while Atlanta would get Lamar Odom and Andrew Bynum. Eww to that trade...Billy isn't THAT stupid, I hope. Bucher went on to say that a trade with KG going to the Suns is a possibility.. AMARE...AMARE...AMARE...AMARE!!!

Sothron, thanks for the information. I can appreciate your loyalty to your friend/source..a good Christian thing to do. (Not saying people who aren't Christians wouldn't or you aren't if you aren't loyal) I think getting Amare to Atlanta would be incredible! It looks like you think that Gasol and Calderon could be future Hawks, but I would much rather have Amare here. Does it feel like Christmas to anybody else? I can't sleep at night!
