Last season was a disappointment for the Atlanta Hawks. A 4-1 start added some hope to Hawks fans, but it was slowly put nothing when the Hawks finished with a dismal record of 30-52. Something had to change in Atlanta, or another season would go to nothing.
Luck was on the Hawks side. They received the 3rd pick in the 2007 NBA draft. With the Al Harrington trade, they also had the 11th pick in the draft. First on the Hawks draft list was a PF by the name of Al Horford. Al Horford is a good offensive and defensive PF who can run the court. With the 11th pick, the Hawks selected Acie Law. A very good selection, he helped with their PG problem and with Mike Conley Jr. gone, was the only good PG left. With a deep young talent pool set in Atlanta, it was time to see who would play what, and who would start.

Good read. It breaks down each position.
