There may be some posters here who are qualified to question Nate. I damn sure ain’t one of em. His track record speaks loud af for his decision-making.
Agree totally. To me this situation is a win win, if Coach Nate plays Cam, it means he feels he's ready and the team is ready for his integration. If he doesn't play Cam, he still has confidence in Bogi's intangibles to help the team win, while Cam observes and stays hungry to keep this roll going in 21-22.

Am not expecting Portis to be sitting clutch minutes next game. The Bucks definitely need his lack of anger management style game in there for some critical rebounds. We simply owned them on the glass.
Will be interesting to see how Bud deploys Lopez next game also.

Jay Williams has bought into Trae being a superstar
Keyshawn Johnson says he's "trending" there, and has a long way to go . . . and use the example of . . "would you get on a private plane and go to Sacramento to see Trae play, if you're in Dallas and you're bored?"
Jay responded . . . "I wouldn't do that to see Lebron".
LOL . . . they keep moving the goalpost when it comes to Trae. It's KILLING THEM to admit that he's one of the upper echelon players in the league.
Jay keeps hitting them with the facts. 48 points - 11 assists. If that doesn't make you a superstar, what does?
When Reggie Miller and Isaiah Thomas are saying he's a superstar, he is!

I haven't been able to find much yet. Whatcha got?
already done! Bobby Portis Jr fouled Trae hard than landed on him.

We call out Red Velvet because Red Velvet had the big game. But that Big game was because he exploited the mismatch on Seth Curry. While everybody blames Simmons for Philly losing, they ignored what we did.
True, ironically though when Doc pulled Curry out to put in Thybulle in crunch time, RV got run into by Thybulle behind the line while shooting for 3 free throws.

He just have to be covered by someone who's reasonably tall. He's probably not shooting over Snell or Solo if they are up on him. He's damn sure not shooting over Gallo.
Build that wall in the lane and you can stop Giannis' transition buckets. He showed in the Nets series that in the half court you can d him up good enough. You won't stop him everytime but we'll probably stop him more than we did embiid. Bigggest difference is Giannis doesn't wear down like embiid.
Another key difference between Giannis and Embiid is that with Giannis you don't have to honor his jumpshot.

Not for me.
Nate for me already, he adjusts, Bud doesn’t.
Even this I’m not sure about if you got a healthy Bogi he does a bunch of things whereas Kyle was a straight up spot up shooter.
Thats the key problem with Bud, he doesn't adjust. I don't know if its his disconnect from players, or just stubbornness on his part. Nate seems more humble and more connected with the lockerroom. Hes the rare type of coach that will "ride or die" with his team.

Jokic would be such an amazing fit with our team... but so would Embiid. Not sure who I would take on the Hawks
You're right, for the Hawks team either would be a fantastic fit. Embiid and Jokic would each benefit from playing with Trae

The Joker could flow with any offense, while Embiid needs the ball to be effective.

Wonder if after all these years away from Philly--where he spent his first 7 years of pro ball--there is any slightly greater satisfaction in being able to participate in that franchise's potential demise.
Wonder, similarly, if he isn't quietly in his heart of hearts dreaming of the opportunity to face LAC in the NBA Finals.
Wouldn't that be ironic to have Rondo vs Lou matchup lol

So for game 3, I don’t know what I was thinking (or wasn’t) but I got a Chicken Philly at Jersey Mike’s and we lost. My gf (wife) pointed it out I didn’t even realize.
So for game 4 on Monday I had to have an Atlanta based food so I went with chick Fil A. Then for some reason at night I got a double single (double patty to equal our wins for the series) and said if we win on Wednesday I’m getting a triple (3 wins) single. So today, I’m running chick fil a back and if we win, a 3 by 1 at in n out (yes Donnie, there’s an in n out near the..)
I realize I can only keep this up for so long then it’s @turnermx smoothie summer I guess.
3 CORN DOGS FOR THE W lol

I feel like if the game is called the right way and we make a few adjustments we can win as long as 2 of Bogi/Trae/Gallo are hitting 3pt shots and Clint is finishing inside. The first part of that is the biggest obstacle - if Embiid is allowed to do whatever as he has been while if a Hawks player breathes on him they are called for a foul, this series could be over in 5.
Lets make a mango peach smoothie then thats about the right color. I love that color, thinking about buying a pair of Trae Young 1's!
Last but not least - don't forget the corndogs!

I'm sure the team was disappointed but I think Nate and Trae will remind them how well they played when they had to roll without Deandre all those games after Nate took on the Head Coach role. It was the regular season and definitely having Dre would help here in the postseason as it did for sure against the NYK but they only need to see that they won Game 1 and fought hard in Game 2 on the road with the final score of that game not indicative of how a large part of the game went, and quite a few mistakes made that weren't previously.
Damn thats my longest runon sentence like, ever. lol

My only pushback is Paul being old. Phx was getting better anyway but his influence was tangible.
It'll be interesting to see if they can keep this up without him.
Ayton and Booker are nice to build around. I put Denver in the mix also. My question on the EC is who besides Atlanta is best set up for the longterm? the top of the East this year besides Atlanta had mostly vets as key players. Note to moderators feel free to move this to a new thread! I took us off topic.

Game 3 adjustments
in Homecourt

Exactly the way I saw it when Cam came in down 15 points in 2nd quarter. If the game stayed close I doubt Cam plays.
