I agree with all. On a side note DMC is starting to scare me. He seems like the kind of player that some teams would go after and build around. They may through more money his way then we are willing to part with. I don't think he is that type of player though. I think he's one of the best TEAM FIRST guys in the league, but not the guy to build your roster around. Hopefully he wants to stay here and doesn't chase the money. He needs to put down some NBA roots since he has been a journeyman up to the last two years.

Before anyone starts to go off on Teague for not showing up this post season, I want to make sure everyone understands. He is playing hurt. His ankle is giving him much more trouble than anyone is letting on. He can cut and push off with it at all. His quickness has been greatly effected as well on the defensive end. you can see that his lateral movement has deteriorated to the point that it's hard for him to stay in front of his man. I admire how he's going about his business. you don't hear him whining about his ankle. He's just going out there and doing the best he can to lead this team. Unfortunately, I don't think it's going to get any better until after his season is over. This match up with the Wizards is much better for Dennis because they don't have a shot blocker like Lopez protecting the rim. Dennis has struggled against teams like this all season. I expect that Dennis will get more burn due to Jeff's injury.

Congrats to Coach Bud!!! He's usually so stoic and nonchalant about praise, but it was nice to see that this actually meant something to him. Very well deserved. I hope our guys play hard for him tonight after he receives the award!

I missed most I the game, but I got to see the comeback in the forth. I'm glad our guys turned it on at the end and shut Josh up. I would have loved to hear what was being sai to Smoove in the locker room and bench after comeback.

We were not that great at rebounding when we were on the 19 game streak. We just are not a good rebounding team.

I've noticed the lack of the sharing of the ball over the past few games. I'm hopping the guys are just gassed and need some rest.

There was a Chris V interview on 92.9 late yesterday afternoon. There was nothing earth shattering discussed, but there were a couple of interesting statements he made. First he is not a fan of this team, he's just there to do his job. He said that the guys we currently have make his job much easier because all of them comply and give him time when requested. The team is made up of true professionals. They are genuinely just good guys with no egos. He said that the winning has certainly made his job more fun. When he was talking about how easy these guys were to work with, he said that they were not like Josh. He said that Josh hated him. I thought that was interesting. I've never heard any of the reporters just come out and say Josh was a jerk.

I'm a believer, but as most Atlanta sports fans know we've had false hope before and only to be let down. This team is different. An Atlanta sports team would have lost by 24 last night and for all intent and purposes it would have been over in the first quarter. An Atlanta sports team would talk about how big and important the game was. An Atlanta sports team would be timid and make too many bone headed plays. An Atlanta sports team would have had someone get a DUI or arrested for solicitation the night before the game. An Atlanta sports team would have made some bone headed starting lineup changes that they haven't used all season because of a gut feeling. An Atlanta sports team would get a fortunate big lead and try to sit on it and coast to victory only to play conservative as we fans watch for two hours as the other team comes back and wins with 2 minutes on the clock. An Atlanta team would get cocky and start to read the press clippings and begin to think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread and begin to think that the league owed them the title. An Atlanta team would begin to relax and stop playing with the heart that got them there in the first place. Nope, this is not an Atlanta team that I have seen before and I'm loving every minute of it.
