OK so when Bob and Nique were talking in the second half (I think it was mid 4th Qtr) those chicks in the background were a little tipsy and were pulling their blouses down a little for us. Did you notice it? We were laughing here at my house. They did like 4 or 5 times. Twice during one timeout and a few more times later on. Not a lot. Just a little cleavage. Cute girls.

My problem with Marvin is that he consistently makes a good situation bad all by himself. 3 on 1 fastbreak....Marvin finds a way to let the ball get away from him out of bounds. Things like this happen all the time that all me and my brother can do is laugh. He's always messing up. I'm rooting for the guy because its just sad.

I don't see it changing. Its not like we're a fair weather fan base. I don't know of any other basketball city that has its NBA team performing at a high level with a 20-7 record and still has fans showing up like they're 7-20. We're just a different deal here in Atlanta. We show up when Kobe, Bron, etc show up.

the ATL-BOS rivalry is more akin to CLE-WAS than LA-BOS.
I don't think its a rivalry at all. Everyone in Boston has forgotten about our little annoyance 2 years ago in the playoffs, in which Boston won it all. We Atlanta fans, however, will never forget the JJ shot against Powe, or ZaZa getting in KG's grill, but its all Mickey Mouse. There is no rivalry. We've proven nothing in their eyes.

I know the Hawk players need all the help they can get, so I voted for everyone of them and plan to do so each day. I think you should do the same.
The other East player I voted for was Danny Granger. As for the West, I went Bryant, Roy, Dirk, Melo, and Oden.

Everything is cool right now. I think we will again be a 4th seed but this time with 50+ wins. The thing I'm interested in is whats going to happen with Joe, and if he leaves, who do we get to replace him.

I found this quote by Crawford to be pretty interesting...
“You can’t go out there just shooting like crazy,” Crawford said. “Especially for me, I’m in a totally different role. I have to get used to coming off the bench and picking my spots. Coach wants me to come out aggressive. He’s like, ‘just go, go.’ But I’m taking a more measured approach. I’m feeling my way through it and seeing exactly where I can be effective for this team.”
Not sure what to read into it this early in the season, but its interesting nonetheless. Lets just say my pops, who hates Woody, would laugh at this comment.

I really wish Mario could develop a more offensive game, but I guess he is what he is.
-
Unlike our other rookies in the past he won't be forced out there. He can take his time and develop his game without the pressure. Kindof like how they brought Stuckey along in Detroit. Now Woody needs to commit to giving him consistent minutes a night.
If he really excels this year is there a chance he puts Bibby on the bench?
I don't think he'll see the starting lineup no matter how good he becomes only because Bibby is a vet that Woody praises a lot. I do hope that Woody has more patience with Teauge then he did with Acie, but not too much patience, cause the regular season is GO TIME, not 'grooming a rookie for the future' time. If we sucked then I'd be all for pushing a bunch of minutes Teagues way, but we're trying to be an elite team in the east and Bibby is the vet we need in there. I do have high hopes for Teague though and I do believe he can help THIS SEASON.

Here is what bugs the hell out me about pers: you judge a guy who has been a starter his whole career against some scrub who played 10 minutes a night against the other teams bench. You are insane if you think Salim could average 20 pts a game agains a starting NBA unit over a whole season...I dont give a crap what your pers say; that is just crazy as hell to use pers in this manner.
Now if you compare Crawford against a 6th or 7th man who averages 22 to 32 minutes a game, of which half or more will be against starters; you have a nice aurgument. Otherwise leave the scrub pers to comparisons against other scrubs LMAO...
I'm with you....now all I need is a response from the person you were debating with....

Yeah, its these right here.....don't mind the small white dot on the letter "T". Hawks represenatives tell me it will be fixed.

I'd prefer a link to where you heard this quote but if its true that he said this then... yes....its very hypocritical.

If JJ leaves, then we'll take a step back next year, but thats fine because JJ will never be a player that leads a team to a title. I think we all know that. Better to spend our money on a legit all star down the road.
Last time I checked there is a game to be played...
