Maybe Trae has to stay home and take care of a sick child or something
Sick children are a positive for you? Sheesh.

Trae is not a happy camper if he can't get his man, Steve Nash, at the helm. If Trae stays, I give Quin 3 years max.

We have a defensive coordinator?

I'm gonna punt on Prunty.

Snyder's comments:
So, is that Snyder's way of saying, "I'm tired of you guys. I quit. This will sound nice and rosy though."?

But there is so much more. Players are back at practice tomorrow.
What's gonna be your name for Prunty. Gonna miss the iRobot nickname, lol.

I'll start.
Avery Johnson.
David Fizdale.
And I'm going to say it...
Becky Hammon.
If there's an owner out there who would be entirely bought-in to offering Becky Hammon her first NBA head coaching gig, it is ours.
I'd be good with any of those candidates, especially Becky and Avery.

I hear you. I'm gonna say this, then I'm gonna try to shut up. Other guys moving off ball around Trae is meaningless. Hence, people like Collins get 4 to 6 shots in a game on a regular basis. "Go stand in the corner, and if I absolutely have to, I might throw a pass to you" does not build team comradery.

It's hilarious how people (here and abroad) are using this to impeach Trae.
But, if you ask them if they want Nate or Lloyd coaching their team ...... crickets.
If it was up to me we'd still have Bud. I would not want Lloyd or Nate. Bud moved on because he didn't want to tank. I don't blame him. Supposedly Trae was looking forward to playing off the ball when we got Murray. That didn't even last half a season. Trae is a very good talent, but he views himself as All Universe. He isn't a Jordan, LeBron or Kobe though.

Hire Synder to play Bud Ball
Hawks trade Trae for Anthony Edwards and Conley
Trade Capela, Bogi, and assets for Siakam or AD
Trade JC for role players
Gives us
Murray
man
Hunter
Siakam or AD
Okongwu
Play Bud ball. Got a #1 option with , #2 with Siakam or AD, #3 with Murray, Hunter at 4 and Okongwu being the garbage/energy man
AD is a permanent resident of the injured reserve list.

I suppose that's one way to look at things, but I feel like the coaching search is gonna be deeper than hiring the offense Trae would prefer
Then we'll be repeating this process whenever Trae gets tired of the coach.

Only confirmation we have is Hawks are interested in certain people, and that's the info we have to go off of until we hear otherwise.
Not sure why Trae's opinions on motion offense would have anything to do with interviewing people like Snyder
Because they come from the Coach Bud (Popovich motion offense) tree, and are not "heliocentric" one on one oriented. Since Trae prefers one on one, he might not be interested in alternative philosophies.

They all play Bud Ball and run the motion offense. This is gonna be a portal to trading Trae.
Trae can't play Bud ball. That's the biggest issue unless we got trade Trae ideas.
Can't play or won't play? Are you saying he won't be content unless the world rotates around him?

If Hawks have such a potent coach killer on their team, why would established and sought-after head coaching candidates even be willing to interview for our team?
No confirmation that they are interested, especially if Trae is not interested in motion offense coaches, which several folks on here have indicated.

I’m guessing it either had something to do with the KC Chiefs winning the SB, or finally getting his kid to go to sleep.
Maybe he got early notification that they were going to fire Nate during the break.

I think maybe he was glad he got some time off and didn't have to go to the All Star Weekend, so he could spend some time with the family.

Im picking up what youre puttin down but this is a results based bidness. Saying Cooper has more talent is like saying Yi Jianlian was more talented than Kobe.
And yes, if you're playing from home, I just compared Jose Baller-ado to Kobe.
Cam Reddish?
They didn't include a category for ball boy/gatorade dispenser.

I'm on the fire Nate bandwagon, but this ain't all on him. Dudes that got paid need to show up consistently. Everyone keeps talking about the bench and how it's terrible(it is), but what's really holding this team back is Trae, Murray, Dre, and Collins don't consistently show up. If those four guys played solid consistently, we'd be better than we are....
And CC, OO, Bogi, JJ and even AJ are all inconsistent. It looks like we can probably add Bey to that list too.

Yeah, the way they're playing is giving us all fits.

Since SlInky's still under contract, let him be the interim coach for the rest of the season. He couldn't be worse than any of our current assistant coaches.
