All he said was Orlando, Bucks, and Hawks are making a 3-team deal that will send JJ and Smoove to the Bucks.
-
I just want 3PM to come already.
-
Nothing. Way too quiet. Something has to be going on.
-
WTH is that supposed to be??
It's called a 'rage face' basically they are emotions that are supposed to add a comedic effect.
I just really don't want Monta lol

If what he said is true, this is by far one of the smartest move Smoove has done for us during this whole rumor period. By stating that, the Bucks will probably make a better offer than before. Because of this, Phoenix could counter and raise us Gortat + 2 1st round picks (just assuming). Not to mention Brooklyn somehow swooping in and getting some mystery 3rd team involved.

http://www.slamonline.com/online/nba/2010/04/josh-smith-not-a-fan-of-milwaukee/
This was Smoove's thoughts on the city of Milwaukee during the 2010 playoffs.
From the AJC:
“A reporter mentioned that Milwaukee is
different from Miami, the Hawks’ first-round destination last year (and
lemme tell you, this is another reason Hawks management was happy to
draw Milwaukee instead of Miami this time). So what will Smoove do in
Brew City? ‘Maybe go to Ruth’s Chris or something,’ he said. ‘There’s
pretty much nothing to do,’ Smith said. ‘Miami has some really good
restaurants. I never really did anything in Milwaukee. I would be happy
to just find a restaurant. I’m not bashing the city but I’ve never
actually did anything in Milwaukee so I really don’t know what is around
there.’By now Hawks PR Man Arthur Triche, seeing
where this was headed, had creeped in to try and break up the party.
But, Smoove being Smoove (‘I don’t care!’) he wasn’t stopping. Someone
picked up on the Noah thread and asked Smith if he’d be taking any
vacations in Milwaukee. ‘Would you go there?’ Smith asked. ‘Everybody
knows there ain’t nothing to do in Milwaukee, man. Everybody knows that,
(even) the people that live there.”’- 2

Spurs! Dark horse pick!

I would have sworn this was posted by JTB with the long title. I feel the same way about missing him once he's gone... But I will get past it!
Haha well I try to post thru memes to keep it entertaining but I like to speak what's on my mind every once in a while. I'm with ya there. It's time to move on!
-
I mean the guy did something not many of us have ever had the opportunity to do, play for your childhood team. I grew up watching the Braves on TBS and as I grew, the Braves continued to win. At one point, I dreamed of playing with Chipper, Smoltz, and countless others. Those dreams are gone but for all the shortfalls Smoove has given us I think it's time for both parties to move on.

I'd rather have a Smart-BBIQ boring team than a Dumb-BBIQ "Flashy" team. It's time to reset.

Any combo of deals we would possibly receive from the Smoove deal would still get us a playoff spot. The east is that bad.
-
They get Smoove. It's what they need to get younger. They have fab Melo, Brandon, and a whole cast of others who are ready to run.
Plus it's already been reported that Smoove has an interest in playing in Boston. That would give the Celtics the incentive to grab his bird rights and secure a trade. Smart deal for both.
-
I wish I had the opportunity to watch Nique in person when he played ball. I bet he was super fun to watch...congrats!
-
No way. Bradley and Melo instead of Bass and I'm interested.
Celtics might actually do that if we take some of Smooves' salary back. He has already expressed a lot of interest in going there so they might reach a little.
-
I think he will be traded. There is SO much demand for his skillset, although he hasn't promised he would re-sign with a team. Out of all the rumors discussed, the most realistic place he would be traded is Brooklyn (if they can get a 3rd team involved). They're pushing the hardest for him and have even talked to the Cavs (exploratory talks) about being a 3rd team in the deal.
-
Neither do I. Both still have 3-4 years left on their contracts and would thus create a dent in our cap space. I wouldn't mind Bass but Smith for these two would be a steal for Boston.
-
I’ve heard for a few weeks now that Boston is salivating over Atlanta forward Josh Smith and would be receptive to unloading Brandon Bass and Jeff Green to obtain him. It’s no secret Brooklyn wouldn’t mind Smith, either. The Nets, some league officials insist, apparently are offering forward Kris Humphries and swingman MarShon Brooks. Racine Journal-Times
Saw this on hoopshype a few minutes ago.
Don't know how much merit there is to this link, but I decided that since it's up to at least make a forum of discussion out of it. If the trade goes down:
ATL gets:
Bass
Green
possibly filler
BOS gets:
Smoove
What do yall think?
-
I kinda want Royce white lol I'm going to get klled for that but kid is talented
I was very high on him during the draft, guy was lighting it up in summer league and i'm a fan of his game.
Only problem is matching up the contracts to get the deal done.
White + Parsons + Montejunas + 1st doesn't equal Smoove's salary for this year. Plus, I'm sure Houston wouldn't do that deal.
-
so Lottery-Protected means the Rockets hold onto that pick if they DON'T make the playoffs?
-
Wouldn't make any sense. Why would we help a team try to make the playoffs when we have the rights to their 1st round pick. Besides, they have no assets besides Harden and Lin.
-
-
Maybe the understanding was Josh would play smart and if he did, Ferry would make him a cornerstone piece of the team's future.
-
My pattern for the last few seasons has been to sell the "big game" tix and go to the rest. Broke even a few times, and f*** being surrounded by bandwagon Celtics-drones, etc.
Yeah there's like no point in going to the big games. It's always an away/neutral game for us.
