  1. If what he said is true, this is by far one of the smartest move Smoove has done for us during this whole rumor period. By stating that, the Bucks will probably make a better offer than before. Because of this, Phoenix could counter and raise us Gortat + 2 1st round picks (just assuming). Not to mention Brooklyn somehow swooping in and getting some mystery 3rd team involved.

  2. http://www.slamonline.com/online/nba/2010/04/josh-smith-not-a-fan-of-milwaukee/

This was Smoove's thoughts on the city of Milwaukee during the 2010 playoffs.

    From the AJC:

“A reporter mentioned that Milwaukee is
different from Miami, the Hawks’ first-round destination last year (and
lemme tell you, this is another reason Hawks management was happy to
draw Milwaukee instead of Miami this time). So what will Smoove do in
Brew City? ‘Maybe go to Ruth’s Chris or something,’ he said. ‘There’s
    pretty much nothing to do
,’ Smith said. ‘Miami has some really good
restaurants. I never really did anything in Milwaukee. I would be happy
to just find a restaurant. I’m not bashing the city but I’ve never
actually did anything in Milwaukee so I really don’t know what is around
    there.’

By now Hawks PR Man Arthur Triche, seeing
where this was headed, had creeped in to try and break up the party.
But, Smoove being Smoove (‘I don’t care!’) he wasn’t stopping. Someone
picked up on the Noah thread and asked Smith if he’d be taking any
vacations in Milwaukee. ‘Would you go there?’ Smith asked. ‘Everybody
knows there ain’t nothing to do in Milwaukee, man. Everybody knows that,
(even) the people that live there
    .”’

  3. I mean the guy did something not many of us have ever had the opportunity to do, play for your childhood team. I grew up watching the Braves on TBS and as I grew, the Braves continued to win. At one point, I dreamed of playing with Chipper, Smoltz, and countless others. Those dreams are gone but for all the shortfalls Smoove has given us I think it's time for both parties to move on.

  4. They get Smoove. It's what they need to get younger. They have fab Melo, Brandon, and a whole cast of others who are ready to run.

Plus it's already been reported that Smoove has an interest in playing in Boston. That would give the Celtics the incentive to grab his bird rights and secure a trade. Smart deal for both.

  5. I’ve heard for a few weeks now that Boston is salivating over Atlanta forward Josh Smith and would be receptive to unloading Brandon Bass and Jeff Green to obtain him. It’s no secret Brooklyn wouldn’t mind Smith, either. The Nets, some league officials insist, apparently are offering forward Kris Humphries and swingman MarShon Brooks. Racine Journal-Times

Saw this on hoopshype a few minutes ago.

Don't know how much merit there is to this link, but I decided that since it's up to at least make a forum of discussion out of it. If the trade goes down:

    ATL gets:

    Bass

    Green

    possibly filler

    BOS gets:

    Smoove

    What do yall think?

  6. I kinda want Royce white lol I'm going to get klled for that but kid is talented

I was very high on him during the draft, guy was lighting it up in summer league and i'm a fan of his game.

Only problem is matching up the contracts to get the deal done.

White + Parsons + Montejunas + 1st doesn't equal Smoove's salary for this year. Plus, I'm sure Houston wouldn't do that deal.
