I have to repeat a point myself and several others have made: this isn't just about the player. It is the fact you have a guy that was imply horrible last season at age thirty getting a fat 12 million contract for three years, all guaranteed and no team options. It would be like the Hawks giving Mike  Bibby in his last year here a three year 12 million dollar extension. Why overpay for a guy you can get cheap later like we did with DMC?

Danny Ferry's "vision" is a blur! This dude has done nothing for this offseason....it would not surprise me if the Spirit Group ends up actually selling the team and them moving in the next couple of years.

The Hawks just need a "vision".

If DF doesn't do something more than what he's done he's going to lose a lot of the fan base and the momentum that has been built. There aren't a lot of moves left that we can see, but he hasn't telegraphed his moves up to this point. Time is of the essence.

But he has a "vision"....

Just change it to the "Vision" Factory.

No worries guys...the owners have a plan to make us a title contender in the next 5 to 10 years.

The Houston Rockets do not currently have plans to trade either Omer Asik or Jeremy Lin now that they have reached an agreement to sign Dwight Howard.

The Rockets have been reportedly discussing a trade involving either or both Asik and Lin.

The New Orleans Pelicans had been connected to Asik, but a source tells Marc Stein that there is no interest.
