To think if we won just one of the games at home vs Knicks or even the game Monday we would be sitting in 2nd place right now in the East. But as it holds we are a 1/2 game behind Boston for the #2 spot

When Teague drives most of the time he gets it blocked or he misses. A few times he finishes but he doesnt get to the paint enough. And when he does he either gets it block or misses. And he needs to become more consistant with his jump shot.

this is the way i see it: Marvin sucks. He doesnt hit open jumpers no more and he rarley does anything in the paint. Smith can get to the basket but he hasnt been as effective there recently Bibby is not going to scare anyone off the dribble So what plays do you run? The only plays that SEEM to work: -ISO Joe ands Craw -Bibby coming off screens -Al on the post -PNR At times Marvin might hit a jumper, Smith might get to the rim. Even Joe Smith was hitting open jumpers before he got injured. And Mo is streaky. Again who else are you going to run your offense through? Besides Al and maybe Josh who else is going to get to the basket, create their own shot or create for others? Woodson is basically saying I want to put the ball in my best players hand. It isnt the offense scheme. What needs to happen is Joe and Craw need to not only create for themselves but for others. And everyone else need to stop standing around when they have the ball

Right now Hawks have a half game lead on the magic. What I'm trying to figure out is what do teams do to have success vs Orlando that we dont? Portland was without both of their two true centers and their best player yet they still destroyed Orlando. Even the Kings were hanging with the Magic until the 4th quarter of that game. Portland and Atlanta are very similar in my mind. I just dont get why we dont match up well with them. Portland didnt even have their best play and still destroyed Orlando. So why cant a healthy Hawks team beat the Magic? In my mind, it's mental. I don't think they believe they can beat this team. Of course they get up for Cleveland and Boston because they know they can beat them. But Orlando is a different story. They just need their confidence

I really don't judge this teams success against cleveland vs last years team success vs Cleveland. This year we have imo the best 6th man in the league. This year we have a stronger bench. This year we are healthy. And what have we seen? Two close competitive games. If the Hawks want to beat Cleveland, they have to learn how to finish games. They finally get it against Boston. Now they have to do it vs Cleveland becausw twice the Hawks had a chance to win it in the 4th. It just comes down to finishing games. So Cleveland might be 9-1 against us in the last 10. But if we meet again, I'm confident we can beat them because THIS year we are deeper and so far healthy.

Long time view first time poster. Although Ive been in the chat last few games Maybe its me but we destroyed them so far in both games we've played. Bosh always seems to struggle against us. Not to mention we destoryed them here and IN Toronto. And it's not like they were missing a key piece to their team. Their playing good now but every team goes on stretches good or bad. Remember that streak Houston went on few years back. Where did that get them? I'm not saying it will be easy but I don't see them beating us. I see a sweep
