  1. Teague should be starting and Kirk should be coming off the bench. People say Teague has had 1 good game which is not true considering he had a good game in Boston also against a playoff team. On the other hand, how many good games has Kirk had? Kirk has not had a single good game IMO, especially if you take into consideration the hype that this board tried to give Hinrich. He has done nothing. So, maybe one of you guys should start a post asking should Hinrich be starting because I seriously believe Teague brings more to the table. The team probably even wants Teague to be successful more than they even care what happens to Kirk.

  2. The post does not have much depth. Some people have really dealt with cancer in real life and would never go around referring to other human beings as cancers. Lastly, the reason why I never wanted Kirk was A. Because he has been a stopgap every where he played. B. I knew he would get blind love just like Zaza when he is not worth it because he has not helped the team do anything better than what they did before he joined the team consistently.

  3. LD deserves 0 credit. I am waiting the day we get a real coach. Why didn't LD give him the chance against Derrick Rose? No credit goes to LD the career backup coach. We need our Richard Hamilton to tell that idiot whats real.

  4. I jus don't see the need in starting both our point guards..its no knock on Kirk..its jus that Jeff fits better with the first unit because of his speed and ability to penetrate..Kirk plays quite well wit Jamal..if Kirk and Teague both start then that leaves Jamal as the backup point which we all know is a turnover waitin to happen..

I kinda agree but Marvin does not need consistent minutes he has proven over the longhaul that he is too inconsistent to give minutes. He needs to be benched and I am not sure if Damien is a starter in the NBA either even though I love him for his price. I am not a fan of Zaza starting with his inconsistencies also.

  5. Yes Kirk was not what this team needed he is a combo guard with some PG skills. He was always a lateral move. On a positive note I hope we can trade his contract this summer because he will expire next year, we are going to have too many players not earning there keeps. The guy is not worth $9 million dollars or $8 whatever he will make. We already know about Zaza and Marvin and even JJ to some extint being overpaid we don't need another guy eating up payroll and not putting out what his pay says he should be doing. Hopefully we can get atleast 2 solid role players back for his contract. I heard the Kings were looking for a PG earlier this year and had interest in Teague my dream would be to get them to sign and trade Dalembert to us for a deal where Kirk and Dalembert would be the major contracts

  6. Well my only response is I hope it did not take anyone this long to see what has been going on. I said after we got swept by Cleveland a couple years ago and failed to make any type of significant move (I never considered Jamal a forward move because he has never had the grind it out playoff tough mentality) that Sund was brought in to run the team into the ground and eventually have it moved to Vegas.

  7. Crazy part about this is my friend took it a step further when he noticed my shock. He goes,"you know like, all of them do it right?, like pretty much the whole team. You act like they aren't normal ppl too." all the while as a fan, everything starts adding up to me. They play like the don't give two F-@ks about anything, which is the number one symptom of green.

I wanted to mention this when I heard it, which was in December, but I didn't want potentially season/career jeopardizing info against my team floating on the web, potentially leading to a lawsuit against me for slander. But now, I dnt think anyone will believe it anyway. And b4 you bring up them having drug test, there are so many ways that can be beat by ppl who don't make a fraction of the money they do, so for them I knw it's no problem passing a test

I respect your opinion and supposed inside knowledge but weed and NBA players is nothing new. Furthermore, being that I partake in it myself from time to time I think to narrow it down to this being the main problem is way off. I am quite sure Josh is not burning before games or the day of, now that would be a problem.

  8. Agreed. Euroleague stats do not directly translate to the NBA. I personally think it's worth the shot. And to say that Teague has more upside than Rubio....that's just foolish.

Not to say I don't like Teague, because I definitely do. But given a choice of Rubio or Teague, I'm taking Rubio.

You guys sure know a lot about being fools. To call someone else or there opinion foolish because it is not yours really shows what type of man you are. Your not God in my world just for the record but carry on little man

  9. 1.Marc Jackson: Familiar face and a little hype/interest

5.Sam Cassell: From afar he seems like someone who has passion to teach the game

4.Tom Izzo: Decent level of hype, you would think he can teach guys that do not know how to play how to play, but would cost the most of all guys I suggest

2.Bill Laimbeer: Would be great because he is proven and is simply looking for a chance so he would not be asking for too much cash just a oppurtunity

3.Jeff Van Gundy: Minor level of hype and interest maybe he could help with the passion and be a very quotable guy like his brother.

  10. Spent too much time evaluating the core and then dropped major money on them so as to continue evaluating only to reaffirm the answer that has been the same as it was 2 years ago, they are good but will never be great. Now they are stuck trying to negotiate underneath their self imposed hard cap and trying to tweak the roster while coming to terms with the true value of their players.

Bibby could only be moved with 2 picks as incentive.

Marvin had no takers at his contract length.

Josh was laughed off considering the package they thought he warranted in return.

    Zaza had no takers.

Joe is in the first year of a very lucrative deal that will only get harder to move as time goes on.

Horf still has the benefit of "potential" and is building a decent but not exactly spectacular resume. Remains to be seen what his market value would be.

Sund said that they are only looking to be buyers and not sellers but he's coming to the conclusion that he's playing with monopoly money. The only way out of these contracts are to sell them at pennies on the dollar in order to get less "talented" but harder working or better chemistry pieces in return or throw in a new blender in order to get marginally better players back. There's really not much to ask for next season outside of a commitment to breaking up the core no matter the cost. The team is not popular as is so it can't really hurt the bottom line much to rebuild some.

I ask this for knowledge not to be confrontational but how do you know this?

  11. Josh is not a natural basketball player but a natural athlete. When he dribbles the ball in transition instead of giving it up it is him trying to expand his game and prove to himself and his doubters that he can do more than just jump high and dunk hard. I explain Josh by saying that he is making himself look dumb by trying to prove things that don't need to be proved. We are still waiting on Shaq to make FT's and develop a jumpshot but he is a 1st ballot Hall of Famer. He could be a Hall of Famer by going to the rack strong at every instance and blocking shots just like Shaq who you could still argue who is more of a big brute than basketball player.

  12. I replied that if it bothers him, he should buy a block of tickets for Hawks fans. And that he shouldn't get mad at Hawks fans for what Knicks drones do.

Just because he has money he is suppose to throw his money around to fix every situation? Seriously, I just feel like it is something wrong with someone replying to someone else in that manner when they really don't know that persons financial situation. For all you know he could have all his excess cash invested to solve real problems like cures for cancer and hiv.
