No, we will see the same core next year. Joe, Josh, Al and Marvin are staying. Jamal will not re-sign they will try and move Kirk since he supposedly has such a great rep. Hopefully, they can rid themselves of Zaza's contract along with Kirk since he will be the expiring next year. Those are just my thoughts, but I would not be surprised if they keep Kirk and let him expire also. I am about ready for a real coach, a true contending team or for them to move this mess to Vegas.

Horford is a true all-star but I posted this yesterday somewhere in the blogworld. Horford is a jumpshooter and position defender we do not need the edge and attitude from him. He is the type of player who needs execution more than edge. I am disappointed when he gets into the back and forth talk, like he needs an extra edge because he doesn't need it.

Guys around here are treating Hinrich like he is the savior. He can't do anything wrong or bad, it must to have been on someone else. Douglas and Carter got in the lane for kick outs all 4th quarter on Hinrich, he got torched by Westbrook that's two bad games in a row if you are still touting him as the great defensive stopper

The whole point of homecourt for the Hawks is to give the players, announcers, front office, and other blind people another reason to blame things on the fans that should be put elsewhere

Woodson is so much better than Drew and its obvious. Funny how Nique said Woodson needs to change up the defense when the Hawks were getting beat off the dribble by Douglas tonight. I guess everyone is know realizing it

Hinrich turning the ball over two times in a row and not getting the team into a decent set in the 4th hurt the team a lot more than Josh Smith's presence.

Teague deserved to play more than Jamal in the 1st half. Once again proving we are a soft jumpshooting team. Teague was the only person that got to the rack when he wanted to and got other people shots they just could not make them. Our guards shoot too much and that includes Kirk. Once again the big men can not get any flow because of our guards. LD is horrible way worse than Woody with every aspect of his game management.

Wish he would stay out long as possible. The Hawks are turning into a bunch of attention clowns. He is only coming back because the game is on ESPN. I am starting to see a bunch of egos on this mediocre squad. It's frustrating to see, I would rather accumulate wins than egos. They are also trying to make a rivalry out of a team that is barely relevant in the Knicks. There rivals should be the Magic, Celts, and Thunder, teams that beat there brains out consistently are the games they should be circling not a lesser opponent like the Knicks

That's all on the PG and coach, meaning Hinrich and LD. He played 35 minutes and to get only 10 shots is just bad recognition

Yeah okay, ban me so there will be no realism just love affair with what you want it to be rather than what it is. I love ATL, the Hawks and Braves but the Hawks made a lateral move with Kirk and it will show in the playoffs. Seven game series against Rose or Rondo and he gets abused. You will only be able to say Kirk showed fire but that is just an act to save face. He isn't a punk but he can't stop good to great players, so he is not a good to great defensive player. The only way to stop good to great players is team defense. We missed Josh and Kirk is not the answer alone like some would like to paint the picture.

Well, you need a true leader and PG to make sure the right guy gets the ball everynight. The Hawks don't have that. If you notice, a lot of the plays down the stretch were for Al, but they were drawn up by LD. We don't have a leader on the floor. Kirk looks like just another combo guard, just as many turnovers as assists. God willing, when we get a real PG you will see the difference, I think it is Teague but I could be wrong. One thing I know it is not Kirk.

Joe has done more for this franchise than the guys that the blogs like to love. Joe is a warrior they will start to fall again

Why hate Westbrook. He gave it to the Hawks "defensive PG" so he had a right to bloat.

So true, I'm sure Rose is so mad because people claim the so-called defensive PG shut him down. He will go for 30 pts and 15 assists when we play them on TNT. Westbrook lived in the lane, so did Harden for that manner. Defense can't stop bad physical matchups and the Thunder who we have not beat in 2 years now are a bad physical matchup for us, with the so-called defensive PG or not.

Hinrich is so overrated and I have been saying that. Teague looked good again tonight. He had 2 TO’s but Hinrich had some also. Hinrich could not guard Westbrook and could not guard Rose, Rose let him off the hook. This is what Hinrich would look like in a series against Rose or Rondo. He would get murdered like tonight. I also did not like him taking too many shots. Al did not get into a groove tonight and a big part was Jamal and Kirk dominated the ball too much. Foul trouble hurt but not as much as some will make it out to be.

Teague played good tonight.

Bibby helped this franchise take the next step he deserves respect and to be honored. When Teague leads us to the Eastern Conference Finals is the moment that the Bibby memories will go away, but that is atleast another year away.
