I'm currently watching this live on the WatchESPN app. Had no clue any of them would be on here, just happened to notice the upcoming scheduling after I finished watching the World Cup finals.

You guys all seem to assume the only benefit of the trade is financial flexibility. Did Bud and Ferry give you this info themselves? Or are y'all just assuming the truth of what you think to be obvious?

If Ferry traded Lou and Bebe for nothing then he should be fired IMO. It looks like we are now in the "desperate to fill gaping SF hole on roster" hunt for Lance at this point. Or sign Monroe and trade Millsap for a SF.

I think you're looking at it wrong. These days I often find myself telling people, "Buying something you don't really want is a waste of money." None of us know how the Hawks rated Bebe. Or Lou for that matter, but especially Bebe. If the Hawks genuinely believe Edy is a better prospect than Bebe, parting ways is the right decision. And if Coach Bud told Ferry that Lou wasn't doing it for him, who are we to say getting rid of him was a bad call?

I think the most important question about Schröder right now is whether he can cover Mack's minutes. That would allow us to cut ties with Mack and use that money elsewhere. Might be too late in free agency to maximize that value though.

A better question is why isn't Glen Rice Jr. on this team?  With Jenkins as an asset and us buying picks in the second round....Rice was sitting there for the taking.  Rice is going to be the player in 5 years that ESPN talks about GMs missing on.

Not sure. I paid $4.99 to get summer league access online. I think they do highlights in the NBA Game Time app which is free. Try that.

Patterson was dope. Probably the most polished looking player out there in a Hawks uni. Jenkins's days are numbered.

I'd agree about Pero, but in some ways it was his first time in the NBA spotlight. That might have had him at least a little shook.

Wow you are crazy if you think you called me out. Korver is a poor defender period and always has been since Creighton. You think cause he played solid defense in one playoff series he is no longer a poor defender? Have you seen him play his whole career? Every team he has played on tries to hide his defense since it's a big weakness for him. You clearly don't know what you are talking about dummy.

Okay bud, prove it. Show me the numbers that say Korver is a poor defender. You can start with D rating if you don't have any better ideas.

No. What using the NTMLE and BAE imply is that the Hawks never really had Cap Space to begin with because there was another move that triggered this.

 

The likelihood is low that the Hawks are using NTMLE and BAE for these signings, but it's not 0.

Was - he looked really bad in the playoffs.

I can't find a source right now but it was revealed after the finals that he was playing with a major injury. I want to say it was a broken bone or a stress fracture of some sort.
