Klay Thompson name has been throw around a lot and not sure why. Horf shouldn't be but at least he had injury concerns. Klay is a top 5 SG and under 24 years old and has room for improvement. Just don't get it. I really don't think he is on the market at all.
I think Thompson is on the market if it means that GSW could land Love.

Horford for Thompson straight up or for Thompson and a few other assets?

I have to agree. It looks like the pacman logo was randomly thrown into the middle of a different hat. Very odd. No real flow to it.
I like it because it is kind of unique.
The logo looks nice on the hat in my opinion because of the red rim on the visor of the hat.
It makes me wonder will this newer version of the old logo be on the game jerseys next season?

Nice!

Atlanta is a large market, but the Hawks are not a big market team. I think ASG gets hated on a lot more than they deserve, but they definitely aren't as loaded as most owners out there and probably won't go deep into the luxury tax multiple years a row.
However, we pick up one of Melo or Lebron, and the narrative starts changing. Miami wasn't "big market" before the big 3.
Yeah, it also has to do with a lot of people in Atlanta are not really from Atlanta.
Atlanta also have many people who are bandwagon fans of the Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, Spurs, and most recently Heat fans.
I can't tell you how many people that I know in the state of Georgia who are Laker fans but have never been to LA or even California because there are so many. They are only fans because of their history.

Think of it this way
New York is a one of the biggest markets and the Knicks suck and will suck even more when Melo is gone.

My mind would be blown if we got Lebron and Melo on the Hawks. The talking heads on ESPN would in fact explode.
Then 95% of the Heats fan base for the past 4 years would then become Hawks fans lol.

tank?
Lol
Exactly what they did when they lost out on D12 and CP3 - sign whoever else is on their radar (like with Milsap) DF won't have all his eggs in the LBJ/ Melo basket.
Ok - that made me chuckle. Lol
Yeah, but what about when it comes to the draft? Wouldn't they have to trade away Horford for draft picks and to make room for both Lebron and Melo?
-
The only problem with this is what if the Hawks lose out on the Lebron and Melo sweepstakes? What should Ferry and Coach Bud do then?

The draft is in 3 days - his workout was over the weekend? Didn't he have his Bucks workout around the same time? How will be lose the weight?
I have no idea, unless he was hiding some strapped on weights under his clothing when they weighed him lol.

I understand tanking the workout by not shooting well etc., but How do you 'tank' a workout by being fat though?
I'm guessing the Cavs experience with Bennett being overweight and struggling last season could have played a factor into it.
If Parker shows up to his drafted team around his more normal playing weight, then we will know that he probably tried to screw the Cavs over by trying to make them believe that he was really a fatass.
It is very odd and extreme though.

Nobody wants to play in Cleveland, LOL.
The Cavs are now making players fear becoming the 1st overall pick lol.

Said he's more interested in going to Milwaukee?
Yeah, but I think that he wouldn't mind going to most of the teams in the top 5 outside of the Cavs.

Jabari Parker - F - Player
Jabari Parker may have "tanked" his workout with the Cavs over the weekend, a source told Chad Ford of ESPN.com.
The "Sorry for Jabari" tanking storyline just took an interesting turn here. Parker reportedly came into the workout weighing in at a hefty 255 pounds, which is well above his listed playing weight of 235. CBS Sports reported that the Cavs are leaning to Parker, but maybe this will dissuade them after last year's massive letdown with out-of-shape Anthony Bennett. -
Scott with the 3

But he's related to the GOAT, his direct progeny even. Nowhere close to Jordan should still be miles ahead of everyone else.
Remember Patrick Ewing Jr.?

What's wrong with this guy
he should be the GOAT.
Nowhere near as talented as his father was.
-
Horford Jr is much smaller right ?Isn't he like a 6'6'' PF ?
He is listed at 6'10 and 250lbs.
-
Because he is not good enough to be an elite college player?

Nice 3 by Mack

Let's make it more realistic.... 230.

But what if the Hawks only view them as role players?
If the they were able to get Thompson as a part of a good deal for Horford, he has the ability and potential to be the Manu Ginobli in Bud's system.
