Just read on AJC that Hawks have hired Goldman Sachs and Inner Circle Sports to sell the team. Still not clear how much stake (50.1% share of Levenson and Washington partners is confirmed) is on the market. Hopefully, they resolve this by end of the calendar year.

In second quarter we have scored 16 and Hornets 0. It seems like a fun game.

Based on games I have seen, Schröder has been very consistent on defense, he plays hard on defense. I don't have any stats to prove this, but yesterday I noticed that Rose was abusing everyone (including Baze) who guarded him except for Schröder. When Schröder was on him, Rose was passing the ball rather than trying to beat The German.

All ATL starters are playing very casually. No defense and shots are not going in. But, they will come back.

I thought Schröder played well, much better than first game. Except for one turnover, he got into the lane and dished out. He would have had more assist if other team members converted easy shots. He was quick and shot well too. With that said, Mack of course is more consistent, in-control and played well too. I was viewing in a small screen, poor resolution. You had a better vantage point and may have noticed more nuances of the game than I could.

My thoughts on players: 1. Payne: Nice defense in second half. He may not have shot well, but he played good overall defense, 4 shot blocks!! Payne was playing like a 3-4 years veteran. 2. Muscala: Again nice game, very active. Gasol outplayed him, but Muscala had few good moments on defense. On offense, he can make shots. 3. Jenkins: Played well again. 4. Schröder: He was dominant and played good on both end of floor. 5. Mike Scott: Was off in first half, but played well in second half. 6. Mack: Except for the last play, he was solid. 7. Starters: Nothing to write about, missed easy shots.

Game over, close game, we lost. It was our 2/3rd unit against their 1st unit.

First bucket by Korver. Scott is having rough night. Nice play by Mack and Muscala.

Nice defense by Muscala on Gasol...but Scott throws air ball.

Nice dunk by Muscala...assist by Mack.

One think I noticed is that Bud changed the players a lot in first half as you can see from the box score....12 players used.

Schröder looked more in control. One layup he made was awesome and he could have had couple of more assists if open shots he helped create were converted by other players.

Ball movement is good Jenkins played well Hawks have no answer for Gasol Milsap had rough first quarter Krover missed some open shots Muscala playing well.

Agree about Sap/Horford. For rookies and new players like Baze they have to go by potential. Baze has shown good upside in his limited time on floor for Lakers.

But, overall I think the ranking was up to the mark. What are your thoughts?

Because of resolution and small screen, sometime it's hard to tell :)....but from what I was able to gauge he was active and decent defensively.

Overall, I am most impressed with JJ, he looked really good. If he can continue to play the way he did in this game I think he will get decent minutes. Moose was also good. Payne looked decent. Little disappointed on way Denise played. He still looked very casual, not focused. Hopefully, he will improve in next few games (even though somehow I doubt).
