Geez. Our D is the worst in the NBA fr
-
As bad as that first half was, Lakers would be blown out without Malik Monk having his one game a month...
Kevon entered the building in the second. Trae figured out what they were tryin to do. He's such a stud.

Lazy ass turnovers...

TLC WTH man... Lots of guys in double figures. Cam and Kevon closed the deal. Our players were better. Point blank.

Missing Cam big time

No way blazers stay this hot beyond the arc. Should destroy them on the glass. Just need to settle down on D. Mays came in an was in the passing Lanes. Good sign

Who knew Big O can throw a lob from the 3 point line. He was so impressive. He easily defends the pick and roll and is an amazing weakside shot blocker. Without a deep post, Embiid couldn't do anything with him. Not sure there is a big in the league that can move laterally like he can. Looks really confident and is comfortable in the offense, pointing where players should be. He is a gem and is just scratching the surface of his potential.

Mays and Big O played extremely well. BS non offensive foul on Embiid when her blasted Mays on the screen. Damn refs.
Praying Cam is ok. He tried to play through it. Hopefully it doesn't swell but he looked great tonight also.
Bogi was off till the 4th but boy did he make up for it. He won us the game.

I hope all the people that hate on Trae's D can shut the hell up now. This team is nothing without him.

Nate you officially on my shit list

Nate refuses to play the younger more talented players. I just don't get it... I really don't get the Collins/Gallo lineup. We gotta be -100 in that lineup.
I wanna see Coop and JJ. This is ridiculous.
-
Untimely offensive rebounds for 3s late killed us. It's time to start to see what our rooks can do. JJ cannot be as horrid as Gallo is on the boards and Coop can run a second offense. Let's see what they can do. What do we have to lose?

This was next level trollin LOL. The dude who called him on stage had a Kevin Knox jersey on. New Yorkers had to be pissed about that alone LMAO...
Then Trae comes out and tells em to
Well thought out... Also explains the Jay Z vs Drake tweet. Trae is eating up this "villian" role

I really don't understand why the Nets went with Bembry over TLC. TLC is the better player. Offers much more offensively and defensively are quite similar...

Kind of perplexing to me, even if he's a more skilled player than Solo. Wing is the position where we have the biggest glut in terms of guys under (guaranteed) contracts--Bogi, Hunter, Cam, and Huerter are primarily wings, Wright can play the 2, and then JJ and Solo (and even Gallo) can play the 3.
Makes me wonder if the Hawks are worried about how Hunter's rehab is progressing, or that there's an unreported lingering issue from the playoffs with Bogi or Cam
Don't think too hard about it. We are still living in a pandemic. Could potentially be without multiple players for an extended amount of time. You cannot have enough wing depth.
Dude is versatile also. He got mins at 1-3. Started 7 games. He's better than having Bruno or Dunn wasting bench space. He can defend.

If Brad was GM, we might still have Malcolm Delaney on the roster.
You must never speak his name

I think Schröder's fumbling of the bag may give us some leverage. Banking on yourself could have some huge consequences... After a career year, maybe it would be wise to take what you can get...

I haven't seen those. I guess that would confuse me a bit because the first two HSs that he left were clearly ones where he was the best player and got all the minutes he wanted. He never played a game at Oak Hill (getting injured before game 1) so that seems unlikely to be a pure playing time issue but if he didn't gel with the coaches then maybe he feared they would not give him the minutes. And at Duke he was getting plenty of minutes before getting hurt. He was still injured some and got a lot of minutes before Coach K shifted his role to coming off the bench. He still got good minutes then until his final two games with the team when he announced he was leaving to get healthy and focus on the draft.
I haven't seen anything suggesting that he and Coach K had a falling out but that is certainly one possible explanation for it. If he continued to be hurt, it would have made sense to get healthy prior to the draft especially if his inconsistent play while hurt led to him being benched. Either way, I just haven't seen those reports.
Facts. Just wasn't a good energy with his name obviously because there is no way she should have been there at 20. People had us picking Isaiah Jackson over him and that would have been a major mistake.
I was just saying that because the negative media that came out about home gave me a bad taste in my mouth. Why am I trusting the media to influence my view on players, I don't know... Also, indirectly he probably was the reason we moved on from Knight. Subconsciously that had me like about the guy.
After watching him in 1 summer league game, he MADE me change my mindset... I'm not one to just flip and get behind a player. He is uber talented. It's one of those situations where it's undeniable, to the point that, if he continues to progress, Collins days are numbered here. And that's not a bad thing at all...
I'm saying Collins because, I don't think you will be able to justify Collins being ahead of him after a few years... He's more talented than him. Collins is a vet and more polished at this point but JJ can defend 1-5 and play 3-5 offensively... Collins can only dream to be that versatile.

I definitely was critical of the JJ pick due to all the reports of him basically being a douche in high school and college (him leaving schools early because of playing time etc..) But after seeing him play (there definitely was extremely limited film on him), I can't see how you don't give him significant minutes midway through year 2. By that time I think Schlenk will be focused on moving JC for more assets. That would make the numbers work with everyone else.

I wanted to add a rim runner like McGee too the roster. He does a lot of the same types of things. 7'0" with and 7'3" wingspan and is bouncy. High block rate. Could be a dark horse for the final roster spot...
