Nah JC max starts at 28.1 million. Spurs still have at least 35 million.
They also only have 11 players signed on the roster. Offering Collins max wouldn't be wise at all...

McDermott 3 years 42 to spurs. I think they are out

Seems like we worked out a kid that I really like in Josh Christopher. Good fit. Can play the combo guard role. Reminds me of a diet Donavon Mitchell. Although he is bigger than him. Needs work on his 3 ball and court vision but he is the perfect guy that can come off the bench and provide a Maxey/Terence Mann type role. Plus on ball defender, great rebounder for his position. He's my draft crush at our slot.

Everybody loves these bad team all stars...Its the same story every time. If we can get player X to play with Trae, they would be amazing together so lets trade away the heart and sole of our team plus draft picks to Get player X. We are guaranteed to be so much better.
Lord have mercy
Grant killed us every game we played him... He's a problem.

I tell ya I like Grant a lot. Two guys that play with heart are Collins and Grant. Ya I’d listen. What’s the deal though?
I would dangle Collins in straight up player for player trade but would send this year's first in order to sweeten the deal.
Overpay, possibly but damn it's a nice fit. Spacing, iso ability and another long armed guy in the lane that can switch defend. He can hit the boards too but focused more on being a pure scorer in Detroit. He can take over a game with his scoring. Trae will only make him better.
Adding D Rose/Patty Mills and a sleeper like Javele McGee for matchups with bigger teams would help out a lot in the playoffs.
This would be an even more dangerous, deeper team more poised for a deeper playoff run.

Hear me out...
I would pursue Jerami Grant in a Collins sign and trade. Would also be willing to send our first.
Team would be dynamic defensively. Potentially running a squad of Cam, Hunter and Grant would be a nightmare for wings.
Grant can still rim run if needed. Can provide iso and volume shooting, and be able to get slower guys like a Bobby Portis in foul trouble very quickly.
Sure we would lose the rebounding Collins brings but gain another defensive presence and ability to switch. Schlenk loves dudes who go off on us when we play them (see Bogi for example). I think it's a real possibility we push for it. Would Detroit go for it?

I'm kinda on board moving on from Collins if he wants over 93 mill. Much rather have the capital available to sign our wings then to sink it into an undersized PF.

Don't tell 'im I said that.
Nah, nah, nah, we're gonna let Pierce go in peace. Although moving on was the right decision, Pierce made some positive contributions to what we have as a team.
If I'm gonna Perma anything, I'm gonna Perma-dump on that bastard...

Does this mean I can take a perma-dump on LP's coaching acumen?

Nate, how in the F do you not play Big O. He's the only guy that slows down Giannis.
Bad luck on Trae ankle. I think we pull it out if he's healthy.
With Middleton having a career night, you might wanna slide some protection to his side earlier in the shot clock. Nate, you gotta adjust...

Somehow the media is making out that the Buck's are the best in the East. Philly was a better team than them... Let's scrub these bums...

Does anyone remember that possession either late in the third or early 4th in game 7 when Embiid tried backing O down? He pulled the chair a little then defected the ball. Made Embiid pass it back out the post late in the possession for a terrible shot. That, folks, is his upside...

Trae and Bogi had bad games and we still rose to the occasion... Extremely impressed with this team. The one thing we have going for us is we literally have no stress on our backs. We are playing with house money ladies and gentlemen...

No disrespect to LP, but am I wrong for laughing at this?
No. Because we would be a lottery team if he was at the helm. Just FACTS bro....

Gorgui Dieng signs with the Atlanta Hawks. One-year, $4 Million.

He's was damn near a 50/40/90 dude (52.1/42.9/86.6) with limited usage of course. High bbiq and great passer.
Great 2nd big and elite 3rd big. Allows us to counter big lineups with our own big lineup as he has the skill to play stretch 4 and 5. Just a savvy vet that rounds out the depth of the roster. A+ signing...
