Demarre who?!?

The way he gets steals on hits the fast break is very similar. One thing I love is how he has an impact on every category on the box score.

I believe he meant fast, not sure how you come from ignoratn to arrogant ;) Proadly he meant he is ignorant to better options.
A lot of people I know sometimes use ignorant in the place of arrogant and vice versa.
In his post, he said that if Dennis acted like he was the man he would be self centered which also goes hand in hand with an arrogant person which means someone who over weighs their self importance.
Ignorant is more used for a lack of knowledge than being a hot head(not saying Dennis is one)
I'm not trying to be a know-it-all, just poking a little fun is all.

Dennis is not our number one scoring option. He's had 3 years in this offense and I've seen interviews from Bud, Sap, Thabo stating that he knows what bud and staff expects out of him as a starter. If he tries to be "the man" then we know we are dealing with an ignorant young player who's more worried about himself rather than winning.....but I'm not worried cause I don't believe Dennis will try to take over like that as a starter.
Nice take, but I think you meant arrogant.

Well for comparison Tony Parker has averaged 7 assists only twice in his career. Do you see him as a balhog?
On the other hand, Westbrook last year averaged 10 assists, what do you feel about him?

Will be nice having a pair of backcourt guys on the floor at the same time with a strong passing skill set. Curious as to how that will look in preseason.
Maybe like Tony Parker and Ginobili.

He does help them on defense and offense. But he doesn't dominate in any specific area that can help them get over the top aside from the mid range.
Also they should be a worse rebounding team since they lost Evan Turners 5 and Jared Sullingers 8.3 (in 23 minutes).
And we should be top 2 in rebounding by adding Dwight Howard and since OKC should have a big dropoff in that department.
Looking forward to a better transition offense on our side this year and more Kyle Korver fast break threes.
Last year - 42.1
Projection this year - (Minus Horford plus Howard) - 48.5
That's a huge jump and there's other factors besides personnel, but we should see number close to this.

I'm trying not to put too much expectations on him. But he could be the 2016 Jimmy Butler that people passed on.

I am comparing our two rookies to players in the NBA during their college careers to get a bit of an estimate of how good they can be if things go in our favor.
I think Bembry is similar to players like Andre Igoudala and Evan Turner being that he is a 2/3 who can handle the ball and create for others. The main difference is that he is less athletic than a young Igoudala but has a more versatile offensive game. But he is also more athletic than Evan Turner and a better defender. I would like to add in Jimmy Butler but I want to see how much of a post up game he has before adding that in. I hear its pretty good.
Prince is hard to tell. To me, he is the kind of player that can be chiseled into something great or be average. Coming out of college he has a NBA ready body and a decent jump shot and has the potential to be a good post up player at the wing.
Most people say that he is going to be the next Demarre Carroll. I think that he could be somewhere between Harrison Barnes and Kawhi Leonard. He is very similar to them when they were coming out of college physically and unlike Leonard he has a pretty good jump shot ( Leonard was a terrible college three point shooter). The main difference is that Prince isn't as athletic as either of them and that could hinder him from being as good. I am not saying he is unathletic, but from what I've seen he is a good lob target, but isn't a guy that posterizes people much. I don't know if its a lack of athleticism or his dribble slowing him down but he can still be a great player.

We were in need of wings that can handle the ball. I THINK I'm gonna enjoy his game more than Prince's -I just love his feel for the game.
Its also a good thing that he has some athleticism to go with it

Stats aside, he seems to have a very complete game. Offense and defense. If he gets a better jump shot he could be very good.
1:04 is my favorite

People say that we might be a step down defensively, and even if that is true, I'd rather play slightly worse defense and get the rebound instead of playing hard defense for 24 seconds only to end up with nothing.

Doesn't really go into much depth. Just wanted to put that out there.

To be honest, I haven't watched ESPN in at least a year for obvious reasons. I usually just watch Inside the Nba and the Starters cause they are way more entertaining and even though they piss me off sometimes they at least don't have favorites. I also watch this guy on youtube who lives in Atlanta who goes by Legend of Winning and is pretty interesting. https://www.youtube.com/user/BGBL00/videos

Just found out that he averaged 3.6 rebounds against the cavs in the second round. Thats embarrassing

Its mind boggling how moving Horford from ATL to Boston makes them number 2 in the East.
I am not taking anything away from Brad Stevens, but wasn't Evan Turner a big part of their success?
Millsap v Horford - Draw
Howard v Johnson - Howard
Bazemore v Crowder - Bazemore
Korver v Bradley - Bradley( Each have thier own strengths so it could be a toss up for other people)
Schröder v Thomas - undecided, even though Thomas can light it up, he is a big liability on defense
I also think the addition of Jarrett Jack will be huge as a locker room presence. Demarre and Elton Brand were the locker room leaders for the 60 win team and alot of people say Jarret Jack is a great mentor and leader. The spurs were keeping Matt Bonner on their bench for the past few years just because he was such a good locker room presence. I know I always draw comparisons between us and them, but they are the model franchise in probably all american sports.

We still have this guy

F it! Prince got shades of Kawhi Leonard. He looks a lot like him

Thank you
I also would like to change my previous opinion on his athleticism, he has won me over so far.
