    Ah I forgot the footnote:

Note: KB can ignore this cause we know his Ingram stance

I agree tbh, Jalen Johnson took almost exactly the same number of 3pt attempts as he did last year, Dejounte took nearly double!

He'll cook your spacing if you bring him, and he doesn't attack the basket enough either. Honestly after watching tape, him and Sarr like to operate in similar spots so he'd get in his way(even though I don't expect a rookie to command many touches to begin with).

I think the fact that he's a household name and an "all star" is what makes him alluring, but we already made this mistake with Dejounte, I don't want to again. We need another shooter.

  2. The more I get acclimated to Alex Sarr being on this team, the more excited I get.

The defensive tenacity that Kobe and Vit brought late in the season was something this team has never had (outside of Okongwu his first 2 seasons)

Mo Gueye is another guy with potential, but I don't want to rely on him turning a corner when he barely played last season.

    We need more.

We need bigs.  Sarr, JJ, OO might seem a little redundant but we also may not have all those guys forever.   I take Sarr with his high ceiling.

Trae meeting with Hawks today?  If the words "we want you to retire a Hawk" don't come out of Landry's mouth then he's doing it wrong.

Gotta get a vet bruiser to even out the athletic ranginess we now have.

How do we feel about Steven Adams off the bench?

Ya'll love setting yourself up for this. I've watched the full games, he's the problem bro. His screens are shit. Doesn't like contact. Doesn't roll strong either nor does he have PnR IQ. He's literally just a lob threat.

I am out on him if the idea is him as a 5. He will bust extremely fast.

We'll have to wait and see, but you've listed your concerns so I'll keep an eye out.

Sarr is way worse at the PnR than any of our current bigs. I really don't believe people understand, this guy doesn't play like a big offensively, at all.

He didn't have any good pnr guards to play with based on what I've read. But I'm saying that we can run Trae/JJ pnr alot more then we could if Dejounte is moved, and I like Sarr's perimeter style mixed with JJ's playmaking.

As long as the plan is to be a big wing and we are patient, only then, am I on board.

If he's a 5, f*** it! I'm completely out and when the worst happens, I told you so.

I see the potential but we gotta have a plan. That said, how does this help Trae?

    Defensively it helps a lot.

One thing no one is talking about is how moving on from Dejounte and cementing JJ as the second guy helps. No more taking turns on possessions.

We're gonna see a ton of 1/4 pnr like we had pre-Capela, and Sarr won't get in the way as badly as Clint did for JC.

Heck, from what I see he might be as good or better eventually than Wemby.  Look at the film on him.  I said MIGHT.  Wemby is no joke but I'm seeing the same skillset in Sarr.

Wemby's 7'4 and hitting step backs. Lets not overdo it

What does a Sarr-JJ-Ingram front court do for ya'll?

I don't want Ingram, defense or shooting.

JJ unlocked himself. Quinn just put him in favorable spots but JJ did the work. He too had no skill set outside of being a point forward. He turned his game into something a lot more than what he was then.

It's all on anyone we draft to unlock themselves but it will take a lot of work.

I am all for Clingan. The only way I am buying Sarr is as a developmental prospect and how does that help us now. Give me Clingan and we are locked into the playoffs for the next 10 years with Trae.

You can sell the idea that Sarr can be a star to the heavens but we have Trae. Unless he's gone, i am going Clingan. If he's gone, then, I don't care what they do. They are tanking anyway.

    Belive!!

Sarr isn't close to ready to play in the rotation, even as a 10th man. He's raw no matter where he plays right now. He's like a raw piece of clay that needs to be molded but he lacks toughness, he's soft, and he's weak. He's really not a big man at all. The argument is, he got a lot of potential on the perimeter. His base for ball handling is decent. He got legit upside as an overall player but he's just lacks a position right now.

Thats fair, I'm at a half glass full approach since I'm not the one making these decisions. Hopefully he proves you wrong.

I don't believe JJ at the 3 is even close to a good idea.

If he's 1st overall, there is going to be elite expectations. That's the problem. He's a perfect pick for 10, a terrible one for 1.

Because sending him to the gleague, using him as a wing and developing his by far the best path forward but he needs real development and patience. Also, he's going to be blocked by JJ. Man, if Giannis is available, trade this pick for him.

Obviously, like Gueye, Sarr has real upside if used correctly. The issue is, we need a center. Sarr ain't that and if you try to force it, he will bust. Why do that when we have Trae?

I'm confused, do you think we can't have OO play center and let JJ and Sarr play the forward spots?

Are your concerns on offense or defense?
