Ya'll love stupid shit too much. But Supes, Trae and Murray gonna work. They aren't too small and Murray is fine with White, why can't he be fine with Trae.

Man, it's the logical shit that doesn't come naturally that irks me about this site.

JJ is a terrible perimeter defender. He's fine on switches but he's terrible defending in space. His team defense is good like Smoove, that's where he's strong. Luka got a paper Wilt number just off JJ defensive performance.

Trae and Murray failed heavily due to poor offensive fit, but I'll give you that you did say you didn't like it.

I believe in JJ's development, I think he will improve in that area, but if you don't think so I see why.

Thinking of the utilization of a super versatile lineup of Sarr, Gueye, and Johnson.  I’m drooling into my beard.

The fact that they got Kobe last year helps add gaurd versatility too. Gonna be interesting what happens with OO, Hunter, and AJ. Safe to assume Murray is probably gone too.

We gotta be realistic.  Why would BKN do that?

Cause he's 27 and not getting younger and isn't a first or second option type player. He's a year older then Ingram.

I don't know what it would take, but I'd strongly consider it.

  4. Things to also consider, Murray takes almost double the threes that Ingram takes and has a lower usage rate.

One of the main issues between Trae and Dejounte was that Dejounte's methodical, self creation style offense clashed with Trae's talent as a disruptor and offensive engine, and thats with him taking 7 threes a game!(Ingram doesn't even hit 4). Dejounte likes to find his own balance between playmaking and scoring, he's not a read and react type player or a guy who can be put in scoring position that draws doubles.

I don't watch Ingram, but I would think that he'd be more capable of translating to a scorer focused role, but his stats don't support that.

Someone let me know, can he play off of others?

His game is predicated on him making midrange shots.  That's great at the end of games.  I think DJ should close games.  But he likes to shoot.  And he doesn't shoot enough 3s and definitely doesn't get to the line enough.

He's a very good guard in my opinion.  If he learned how to go quicker with his offense and be willing to take contact going to the basket, he'd easily be an All-Star level player.

100% He's too methodical with his offense and kills ball movement. Dre had this problem until recently so I hope DJ improves on that end.

Two years ago I would have been psyched for this but Ayton has made me a non-believer.  I think he will eternally frustrate his fans and coaches.

I think playing with Trae and Jalen would keep him happy since he'd get alot of shot attempts. The questionable part would be defense.

Edit: Actually I might pump the breaks on that. The number of shots he's currently getting in Portland wouldn't happen here.

  7. I don't really have tiers, but here's who I like:

    • Donovan Clingan - Size and defense
    • Tristan Da Silva - Size, shooting, team defense, IQ
    • Ron Holland - Athleticism, hustle, potential
    • Dalton Knecht - Scoring, shooting, aggressiveness
    • Jakobe Walter - Shooting, hustle, defense
