Well, the same guy--cant remember full name, its that guy "David (Something)"--said that he thinks Iverson wont be traded before end of this season (not that that's big news to most folks). So I'm not sure who he thought Sheed would go to. This is most definitely a quirky time for us Hawks fans... One of those fragile situations that can end up being either terrific or terrible (we are certainly due for the former, I would think).

The NBA analyst on SC just said he thinks Wallace will be traded before the deadline... Interesting. Btw, the exclamation marks at the end of my thread title weren't meant to indicate that I was overly excited about the prospect of trading him away, just interested in the news.

If the Hawks managed to land Kobe, I guarantee the city would be in an uproar and the fans would respond in a MAJOR way. I know I would go to more games. And I completely agree with Weez--imagine Kobe in the East! In addition, you're right that the scenario is perfect for him; it can be "his" team, and the Atlanta media and fanbase isn't nearly as scrutinizing as other sports markets.
