  1. Lamelo is too high usage/weak defensively to pair next to Trae I think. Haliburton is the cleaner fit even if his talent level is lower. Want to unlock Trae's catch and shoot goodness, but he's ultimately too weak defensively to return good value in a significantly lesser role.

  2. The idea of having two elite passers who are also elite offball shooters in Trae/Haliburton is very interesting. Only holdup for me is Hali's self creation ability. Doesn't get to the line at all and not a pull up threat.

  3. I'm as big of a draft fan as anyone. I hate this class lol. The Hawks need to consider trading this pick, whether that means trading for an established player or just trying again next year.

AE.. I wanted to like him cus he's a Georgia kid thru and thru, but he's been a lazy chucker all year outside of a few explosions in 1 half of games (nature of chucking.. eventually you'll get hot).

I wish Wiseman would've gotten to play all year, he dominated who he played but didn't show an exciting skillset for a t5 big.

The only two prospects I like are Tyrese Haliburton and Onyeka Okongwu. Neither are terribly exciting but I feel they have the highest chance of being useful players to us.

    Update

    This is getting good.

MIN offered Kevin Love instead of Wiggins to GS and still got declined.

MIN is looking for a 3rd team who can take on Wiggins. MIN is not inclined to trade a 1st and are looking at opportunities to see if they can without trading a 1st. MIN wants to keep HOU 1st which is different then what I got earlier.

Atlanta, Phoenix, New York, Cleveland, Charlotte, OKC, Toronto, and Detroit have all been reached for Wiggins that he is aware of.

I can confirm O'Connor take about Atlanta and Houston willingness to leave Minny out of the Capela talks if they can't strike a deal. Still, I can confirm that the Collins piece was BS.

Atlanta goals haven't changed. They want to win, compete, get a starting center, and add a lot of shooting.

OKC might hold on to Gallo till the off-season if the value isn't there.

Golden State is giving mix signals and it's confusing people.

There is a strong feeling that these five teams will make a deal during the deadline:

Detroit, Atlanta, Minny, Houston, and New York. He said NY is just too active and they are motivated to improve the roster this year.

You said Gallo was 95% to Miami yesterday

Naw, he can't get out of this one. He was fighting tooth and nail for JJJ while I was fighting for Bagley. When Bagley was clearly going #2. He still was pushing for JJJ while I was open to Luka/Trae/Bamba. He isn't getting out of this one much less his Zion Williamson hate.

He pretty famously predicted we'd take Trae and Huerter.
