We've just talked our way into thinking that Reddish is someone that he isn't. Just about every Draft expert think that he has serious flaws in his game.
I don't feel like arguing on about it like I did with the prospects last year but I agree.

I think the Hawks are all set to trade up for Jarrett Culver here soon. We have a slimmer of leverage with the Lakers finally out of that 4 spot (they were never trading that pick for anything but an allstar). We could be set up for a let down like with the trade deadline where the Hawks are talked up a ton and then ultimately do nothing though.
I think the Hawks will trade up for Culver and maybe the Bulls (who also like Culver) trade up to snatch Garland away from the Suns.

Seems like the website routing is messed up? I can only get back here by using a thread URL first. The main page doesn't exist.

So many problems caused by these new lotto odds.
-
I would rather we just trade out of the second round entirely like we did last year than trade up for the hell of it (unless of course a guy we really really like is there late in the first or something).

Crossing Cam off the list is a dream come true for me but like Nbasupes quite accurately stated, no one else wants this Bum except Hawk fans.
lmao

The idea of Bol taking those threes that Dedmon and Len got makes me drool so I'm not out on him all the way. Just can't see that dude recovering from a shoulder by Giannis or Embiid lol.
I see the avenue for success but I'm good with letting another team find out about Cam Reddish
-
I'm not over the moon about Culver (his ceiling is basically how confident you are in your shooting coach) but he's the best wing in this draft.
-
Hawks working out PJ Washington tomorrow. Now that one gets me excited, he's one of my 3 favorite prospects to watch.Looks like a baby Millsap.

Cam doesn't suck or even close to suck. He is actually the most advanced forward in this class. His issue is his flaws.
Lance Stephenson sucks. We can trade for Evan Turner if we want PDS with a limited ceiling
He's a helpful type of suck like Gerald Green, but he still sucks.

re: Cam Reddish.
It's like if a team needed another playmaker and signed Lance Stephenson. Sure, he can do that.. but he still sucks. I even identified him as the ideal fit for the Hawks before the NCAA season started, but he has more red flags than any prospect I can remember now. He'll improve with more spacing and a premier playmaking PG. Just about any wing prospect in the draft will.. and they are all better than Cam to start. Add in that he's always hurt and has motor concerns (even before he even came to Duke)... I'm good with someone else finding out.

Really sucks that the Hawks are having to contemplate a trade up. Wish they would've just had better lotto luck.
But at least they have the assets to make it happen if they need to.

Lurked on RealGM and caught wind that this place is back. About time.
ESPN live mock draft had us taking Hayes at #8 and Keldon at #10. I'd throw up.

Like RJ went 0/5 in the last minute. You know how hard it is to go 0/5 in a minute in college? lmao
-
Yeh Duke almost won that game on pure talent but they were plainly outcoached.
-
Pretty bad game from Reddish too. He's gotta work on his footwork. In that Otto/Rookie Tatum/PG role though he'll knock down threes all day.
RJ flaws showed in the end. Even on a few of those fastbreaks he's trying to go 1 on 4 lol.
-
Barrett needs to get a situation like Mitchell in Utah. Wherever he goes, he's gotta be the man. I don't think his game is scalable.

No love for Nazreon Reid? If we miss out on Zion, this is who I want. I don't care that he plays Pf , the guy is very skilled. Has a Postup game, can handle the ball & can shoot the 3.will occasionally block a shot here & there. We could play him @ the 5 We don't necessarily need a traditional 5 in today's NBA. What are y'all thoughts?
I havent seen him play in college but saw a few clips of him from highschool and that's a very intriguing option. I'd take him with the Mavs pick but the first pick has to be for a wing player.

Going from "RJ Barrett is a bad fit for the Hawks" to just not liking RJ Barrett at all. On top of being tunnel visioned/inefficient on offense, dude doesn't get any steals/blocks.
I guess that's why he's consistently been the only Duke freshman to not get into foul trouble to start the year lol.
-
Trae was pretty efficient until the 4th Q if you watched the game. Went 0-6
Through 3 he was magnificent.

Damn, can this team play better than 51 boards, 29 assists, and only 16 turns? Still lose.
They can foul less.

Montrez Harrell ripped Collins, Len, Dedmon, Spellman and Vince's hearts out and ate them on live TV tonight. Trae went cold in the 4th, that's about it.
Team looks a lot better with everybody healthy though. Once Doc found Boban it was a wrap, that shut down pretty much everything that was working early on.

To me a generational player is a player you can throw on any team and have a finals contender.

Culver and Collins are going to bring short shorts back in the NBA.
