  1. How bout Al and Lue to GS Fisher/Ike Digou/#1 pick to ATL
  2. Al/Lue to Boston Olawakandi/Telfair or Rondo/Future 1st to Atl
  3. offering Barbosa/#21 for a chance to draft Roy...would you be interested in that action. Could turn into Barbosa/Sene or Barbosa/Boone. I would be all over that, I think Leonardo is better than any PG in this draft and you still add a big man.
  4. I didn't think Indy was that high on Jasekevicous. Although it's not like I get all that much news over here in Germany. What do you think of that front court depth though? NeNe/JO/ZaZa/Smoove/Marvin JJ and Rondo would be a good defensive tandem also.
  5. I know I have a much clout on this board as Diesel:) I figured everyone would be interested in my plan for the Hawks. 1. Trade #5/Chill/Al to Indy for JO/Shekevicous sp? 2. Try to use 2nd round pick/Lue/Salim trade up and select Rajon Rondo sp? If not..draft Dee Brown. 3. Sign Nene to FA contract. Line up: NeNe/JO/ZAZA JO/SMOOVE/ZAZA Marvin/Smoove Rondo/Schekevicous JJ/Lue or Salim (whoever you don't trade)
  6. I got some scoop from Mr. Chilldress last week. Billy does know we need a PG but, he also knows that the most coveted players in this draft are forwards. He know's that some of these players will be there when we pick and wants a team that might covet one of these players to offer to trade up thinking we would take their player. We will not draft Thomas, Gay or Morrison. Expect Foye, Roy, Williams or the big 20yr old from Senagal. If we take the big guy, we will target Dee Brown later in draft.
  7. Sekou Smith reports one rumor includes the Hawks, Pacers, Nuggets and Sonics. The Hawks would get Nene, Reggie Evans, Flip Murray and a draft pick. Artest would land in Denver. Al Harrington would go north to Indiana and Earl Watson would move on to Seattle. Sounds damn good to me.
  8. I know I haven't posted much so some might think I don't have the right to questions folks on here(however I have read this board as a non registered lurker for a number of years) but, for all you people (Diesel) who always want to questions why we didn't draft Paul....Wasn't the consensous on here this past spring to draft D. Williams over Paul anyway? So, don't act now like you wanted Paul all along.
  9. I don't konw what the hell I was talking about. What about Al/Chill/Delk 2nd to Knicks Fry/Nate Robinson/Lee to Atl
  10. We trade Al, JC and Delk We receive Hinrich, David Lee, Jermome James and NY first rounder Chicago trades Kirk receives JChill, Nate Robinson, Atl 2nd rounder NY trades James, Lee First round pick Receives Al, Delk Thoughts?
  11. and Ben Gordon. KA/Ivey/Gordon Chill/Gordon/Chill Harrington/Smoove/Chill Chandler/Davis Davis/Peja/Chandler
  12. He should come cheap. I think he is about 6'5 and is atheletic enough to be a good defender under the right coach (Woodson). Don't think the clipps would match. Could be a poor man's Jamaal Crawford.
  13. popularity. I may not have any sources but, I bet I am located further from Atlanta than anyone:)(Frankfurt, Germany). Great Site
  14. what is the 2.2 1.0 .8 and .7 all about?
  15. and still have 10mil to play with next year when Hendu and CC come off the books. JT/Ivey Chilldress/D.Smith Harrington/Diaw/Josh Smith Martin/ Thomas/ and 10 Million bucks is the makeings of a good team.
  16. In the Cleveland paper today it says the Cavs can only offer the MLE and that he is open to looking at other teams including Utah, Denver and Atlanta. I think Denver and Utah's' money is locked up with Ginobli and Okur/Aroyo right now. If we offered him a long contract at around 9mil per year I think he would have a hard time turning it down.
  17. I say: M.Blount 4yr 24mil/6mil per Bryan Cardinal 3yr 10mil/3.33per Jay Williams 1yr 2mil that leaves us about 7mil under the cap and with Hendu and Crawford coming off the books this year thats an additional 10mil. 17mil next off season.
  18. to get a authentic Atlanta Hawks jersey? Also, we go more talent out of this draft than anyone. If the two Smith's can keep their heads on straight they are two of the most talented kids in this draft and the more I think about the options that were available when we took Josh Childress, the happier a am with the pick. He should be a solid pro with star potential. Donta Smith was apperantly just as impressive as Kirk Snyder in workouts, the thing that the scouts didn't like was that he was such a beast on offense and on the boards but, seemed to be disinterested on defense. I think that can be fixed.
  19. who we got a steal on? 6'7, strong, good shooter, good handles, and can even play the point. What is the weakness in this guys game?
