  1. aside from Phoenix and LA of signing Kobe. Anyone else read the story today where it said he wanted to go to a young team? Don't recall where I read it. Atlanta is a great place to live (1hr1/2 flight from Phily) and we are definitely a young team. JMO.
  2. I think he could become a Richard Hamilton clone. Also, I think Josh Smith could eventualy end up playing on the block, like nique used to do. He is a legit 6ft8 and has good thickness. Hope nique works with him down there.
  3. JR Smith? They seem to be the same player and JR is a much better shooter. I think I would take JR or Dorell Wright over Josh.
  4. in order. 1.Livingston 2.Deng 3.Iggy at #17 1.Snyder 2.Humphries 3.Jefferson

  6. Deng to Charlotte with the No. 2? A league source told the Seattle Post-Intelligencer that the Bobcats moved up so that they could select Luol Deng of Duke with the No. 2 overall pick. Many mock drafts have Dwight Howard and Emeka Okafor drafted with the first two selections
  7. Livingston, Howard, Josh Smith and JR Smith and it is not even close, Shaun Livingston is by far the most impressive. IMO he will end up being what Penny could have been and more. Have yet to see Howard do much except for dunk on undersized defenders. JR Smith is impressive, Josh Smith can jump and that about it.
  8. if we could get Snyder at #12. Then trade #6 and JT for #1, Hill and Future protected 1st. Draft Howard and sign M. Daniels in FACY. Daniels/Diaw Snyder/Free agent? S.Jackson/Diaw Howard/Hendu Collier/Pryz/Korean dude We would still have money next year in FACY with a very atheletic team in place.

  10. I watched this guy play in the KMOX Shootout as a senior in highschool. Amare, Chris Bosh, Sheldon Williams, Shavlik Randolph and Deangelo Evans also played and Iggy was by far the most impressive player to take the court. I was sitting right behind Paul Hewitt and Nolan Richardson (who at the time had a comittment from Andre to come to Arkansas and play for him), Iggy put on a show that had the ooohing and aaahing. He scored 32points and had to have 12-15 rebounds. Most of his points came on drives to the basket but he did hit 2 or 3 three pointers. Not only was he the best player but, also the best athelete including Amare. He looked to be having a blast out there and played extremely hard. I said to myself at the time this guy is going to be a superstar one day. I really didn't see him play at all in college due to being overseas but, if he could consistently play like he did the night i saw him I would be thrilled to get him. Also, my vote for head coach is Mercer alum Sam Mithcell.
  11. then trade JT to Seattle for #12 and James. Draft Josh Childress at #12 and go after KM and Marquis Daniels in FACY. Livington/Sura/Diaw Daniels/Sura Childress/Diaw Kmart/Collier/hendu Ramos/James
  12. that we have been hereing so much about IYAM. I like him as a player although I don't think he will be an upgrade over JT. I can't see us taking him at #6. Maybe JT to Seattle for #12/James and take Nelson at 12?
  13. Take Livingston at #6 and Rafael Araujo #17. Trade JT to Seattle for #12 and J.James. Take Snyder at #12. 2nd round take Kevin Martin or Sebastian Telfair if they drop, if not take Ha-Seung-Jin #35, Tony Allen #38, and Blake Stepp or Antonio Burks #43. Sign: Marquis Daniels and K-mart Lineup: Daniels/Livingston Snyder/Allen/Hansen Jackson/Diaw/Martin? K-Mart/Hendu Araujo/James/Ha-SEUNG-Jin
  14. Eddie Griffin would have been if he could have kept his head on straight. A good player but I don't think he will be an absolute superstar. Maybe top35 in the league and make a few allstar teams. This is just my opinion and I don't have time (I'm at work) to explain why I feel this way but, does anyone want to disagree with me?
  15. and trading JT/2nd for an additional first maybe to Portland for #23/DD.
  16. draft boards and be gone before we pick in the 2nd round.
  17. Trade JT and 2nd rounder to Portland for DD and pick #23. With pick #6 take Josh Smith. With #17 take Sebastian Telfair. With #23 take Kirk Snyder. Go hard after KMart and try to resign Sura and Jackson. Line up: PG Sura/Telfair/Diaw SG Snyder/SJackson SF SJackson/Diaw/JSmith PF KMart/DD/CC C DD/Pryz Later in the year trade CC and Hendu to teams looking for cap space for something decent in return. Not sure but we might have enough money leftover to sign Qrich, if so we could draft Humphries or Al Jeffeson at #23 instead of Snyder and lineup: PG Sura/ST/Diaw SG QRich/Sjackson SF Sjackson/Diaw/JSmith PF KMart/DD/CC C DD/Pryz After a few years you have: PG Telfair SG QRich SF JSmith PF KMart C High draft pick
