The only way I bring back Horford is if we're bringing Joel Embiid or Ben Simmons with him, and we know that's not happening. Al is just too old and his contract is an albatross. 

I love our addition of Clint Capela but if Joel Embiid becomes available this summer we should trade for him. I would suggest sending Capela, DeAndre Hunter, and our 2021 first round pick or we do a three team trade with Philly, the Wizards, and us. Bradley Beal goes to Philly, the Wizards get Capela, Hunter, and that 2021 first round pick, and we get Embiid. Certainly Embiid comes with risk but this man could be the best big in the league if he stays healthy.

Giannis or AD. I honestly believed if John Collins doesn't get suspended, we make the playoffs. Which in turn would have gotten us a better chance to sign AD. The Lakers are his #1 choice but I really think AD likes Coach Lloyd Pierce and Coach Melvin Hunt. I wouldn't be surprised if we traded for Embiid considering the relationship he has with Coach Pierce. Coach Pierce might be able to get the best out of Embiid.

Give John Collins the max or something close to it. Unless we trade him for a Giannis, AD, or a boatload of good players and picks.

I'm always late to the party. I just read some old post discussing Trae and Klutch. When you miss a week of Hawksquawk, it's hard to catch up.

This isn't for everybody. Some cat on YouTube name Mike Korzemba and his subject titled I simmed the NBA to 2050... You won't believed what happened made three episodes showing what happened. This cat had us trading Clint Capela for Al Horford. He had John Collins signing with the Dallas Mavericks as a free agent. The biggest surprise was Giannis signing with us as a free agent. I believed he manipulated some of this stuff because Giannis, Trae, Huerter, C.J. McCollum, DeAndre Hunter only won one championship. Some years we didn't even make the playoffs. This cat even said Giannis and Trae wasn't a good fit.There is no way in the world we only win one chip with Giannis and Trae. Anyway, check this out if you have time, I can't tell you the other surprises. 

I wouldn't have a problem with him going back home one day. I'm just tired of the Klutch Sports LeBron James politics. 

I hope you're right Nathan. Trae leaving us would be a big blow and all of out haters would love it.

I hope I'm wrong but Trae signing with Klutch might become the worst thing to happen in Atlanta sports history. I see Anthony Davis all over again. LeBron getting his bi' boy to circumvent the league. When will this stuff stop? How can LeBron claim he's the king when he constantly has to have great players around him and always trying has to control the narrative. He'll never be Jordan in my eyes. Hopefully, we get a top 2 lottery pick (not happening because that's rigged too) so we can bring in LaMelo Ball as an alternative. Ball isn't on Trae's level but he would be our PG if or when Trae leaves. The NBA is a rigged league IMHO and it won't change. It was no coincidence that the Lakers got a high pick so they could use that in a trade to get Anthony Davis from New Orleans who winds up winning the lottery. Zion was New Orleans gift for getting Davis to the Lakers.

My idea would be to make 2 all-star teams out of the 8 remaining teams and let them compete. I know it wouldn't happen but it sure would be exciting. By records I would have Team 1: Atl., Minn., N.Y., and Det. and Team 2: G.S., Char., Chi., and Clev.

DeAndre Hunter reminds me of Shane Battier. It'll be interesting to see how he improves this summer as he gets stronger and the game slows down for him. This kid can be a solid player, maybe not an all-star but very solid.

This kid reminds me of Klay Thompson at Washington St. Only difference I see is he has better handles and can get to the basket. I really hope he's 6-6, colleges are known for giving guys an extra inch or two.

I would really like to bring back Millsap and go after Bogdanovich from SAC. Millsap would be a tremendous help for Collins and the entire team as well. Millsap is a team first guy. 

Spud, I just commented on and asked a question about this guy after watching him this morning, and now I see you already know about this kid. Aaron Nesmith is a baller. I like him better than all of the supposedly top 8 picks.

Has anybody seen this guy from Vanderbilt named Aaron Nesmith? This kid has game.

My favorite player was Dominique. Our front office disrespected him, the league disrespected him by not putting him in the top 50 players of all-time and the dream team snubbed him. Nique was only considered a great dunker but he was more than that. I believe he shot 50 or close to 50% from the field his whole career. Scottie Pippen couldn't hold his jock.

Trade. If I'm forced to make the pick Haliburton or Toppin. 

Supes, I believe Toppin will be a good player eventually but sometimes I think people don't give John Collins his due respect. John Collins was a beast at Wake Forest. He didn't score all of his points off dunks. He was and still is a great mid-range shooter and has a decent back to the basket game. His defense will never be lights  out but he's shown real improvement. It's not his fault that Coach Pierce doesn't run any plays from him.
