If he trades for JC that would be all time horrible. Dude is dead weight now.
Ressler hates JC. He's gone forever.

No JJ or Dre. We only have one other real NBA Wing on the roster. We came into the season super thin there and it's killing us right now. Meanwhile, the Raptors are probably the strongest wing team with Barnes, OG, and Siakam healthy. I'm surprised we were in the game.

Full team buy in to the new system.
If shots fell vs CLT, that game looks like the Wizards game.

Harden and Trae are similar players in the fact that they have been offensive juggernauts in heliocentric systems throughout their careers. I'm very happy and excited to see Trae embrace Quin's system and develop his game for winning as a team rather than personal stats.

So, how we looking?

Our guards and team aren't going to shoot that bad all season. If we shoot a measly 25% from 3, that's a win. Instead it's a frustrating loss, but it's really not the end of the world some are making it out to be with overreactions.

I have a hard time seeing him being moved mid-season after not extending Bey. You could end up with no one at the 3.

Schlenk loved Hunter. That's why Hunter was paid early, in addition to being a difficult archetype to find in the NBA.

Right now I say we go with two top notch centers until the Feb deadline and reassess then.
Yup, what's our record, what are we missing, who's available, lots of unknowns.

Jalen is the 4. OO making the switch has passed.
I don't think we will just trade dump Capela to start OO because it would have happened already. There were deals on the table this summer that we could have taken to clear the way. We'll see what the deadline looks like.

I like Hunter as our 3&D guy with Snyder's guidance. I don't want to trade him for crap just to trade him. I feel better about what we did with JC because he really didn't fit anymore.

Kinda sad Bufkin is considered our best new weapon TBH. He is not going to play any significant role this year but we just didn’t make any other key additions this season.
“Winner” by default. He's going to be a star.... in College Park.

On top of their poor Hawks ownership, they sold the Thrashers and should never be forgiven.

what's this about?
He was tweeting about how the rapture is coming and a bunch of other stuff yesterday.
This is what kicked it off. Then he got some feedback and did a live with more feedback. Just providing for context.

Siakam trade to ATL with Cap to Dallas feels inevitable.
Bogi being included seems likely with this dragging out and him becoming trade eligible in September.
Question is…who/what else are we giving up?
Buffkin is available now too, and I'd rather trade him than the best shooter on a team that will lack spacing.

Q1. How many more wins do you see Quin bringing than Nate?
I think Quin will be about 5 wins better. I don't think the roster is where it needs to be for him yet.
Q2. If the opportunity afforded itself and there were no hard feelings and pure professionalism and great friendship.... Would you take Coach Bud right now over Quin.
No, Bud is difficult to work with from what I've heard and I don't think he would be the right fit with Trae. Quin and Trae should mesh very well.

Just understand that getting a 6 seed means another 1st round exit is likely.
Since 1984, the 6th seed has won 19 playoff series. That also means they have lost 41 playoff series. That's a 31.7% win percentage.
So for everyone that wants us to stand pat, I need for all of you to fully accept what the coming season may bring us, for the sake of player development for OO, JJ, and AJ.
Oh, I know, but without another move that's where I see the ceiling for the current roster.
