  1. It's not really an anti-OO narrative. It's an anti-OO as a starter realization that should have been made a while ago. Okongwu is a good player that I think we should keep and continue to develop if possible. He's a great 6th man, first big off the bench piece. Ideally, he can play 4/5, especially with a floor spacing center. However, he's not untouchable and trades should be considered if it makes the team better, But if you want to play this woe is me, protect my baby boy OO, they're spreading a false narrative game, you can bleed away.
  2. Bam is much stronger than OO. At the same age, he was ahead of where OO is now.
  3. Al was a better center and player than OO is and ever will be.
  4. OO gets bullied like crazy when he plays the 5. He's a 4/5 tweener, and that's OK. Clint still defends Centers better. OO's best defense comes when he's guarding 4s. We won't win a championship with him as a Starter. I don't want some big, clunky 7 footer either, but give me a Kel-el Ware type player. We should have traded Clint and 15 for 10 and drafted Derek Lively last year.
  5. He's one of the few assets we have that can provide quality return and he's not big enough to be a starting center.
  6. The kind of skillset that could allow for a lot of front court options. We could even play big with OO at PF at times.
  7. Need a real stretch 5 that can guard the perimeter. Why are we trying to move modern ball back to the stone age with someone who's gonna get blown passed?
  8. Can KAT and Edey play together? Is KAT still a thing? I'm usually around more in the off-season and at trade deadline.
  9. Vit had just as much impact as Bey had imo
  10. Injured. On top of everything, this team couldn't stay healthy. Our front court depth was trash before the season started with only Hunter, Bey, and Jalen capable of playing big minutes at 2 positions. I think we were almost always done one and often times down two. Then Capela and Okongwu rotated injury all season. Add in Trae's pinky and we didn't really have a shot. Roster reconstruction will be a major need this off season. Shout out to Bogi for making it through an entire season healthy tough!
  11. I don't know if it was real, but there was a line about him switching from Luka's Signature shoe to Tatum's that was hilarious.
  12. My hope is KB will play after today and Mills/Mathews run was all for trade value.
  13. I'm mad at them for not trading for Fontecchio.
  14. Jesus Christ that would be dumb
  15. Hoping to hear whatever deal this is whether it happens or not.
  16. How did PJ net Williams, Curry, and a top 2 protected 2025 FRP, and all the rumors for DJ were DLo/Grimes, Rui/Fournier, 2024 FRP?
  17. We were all arguing pre-season about who is the best star potential player between AJ and JJ and how the other should be moved to acquire talent. That question has been answered with authority. AJ can get packaged any which way if he brings back something of value.
  18. Well Herb is playing for NO, too soon to tell if Murphy is going to, and those are the guys I would want. Edit: Anyone worth having is still playing.
  19. I feel like we saw something similar to what a Trae/McCollum back court would look like when he played with Dame and it's not something that wins it all.
  20. Unless there's something else at play, I would have given the Kings pick for Fontecchio.
  21. Honestly, I think the Austin Reaves talk is more about adjusting outsiders (not OUR outsiders!) to what we want in return for DJ. For some reason, Reaves is seen as this up and coming, starting caliber player, better than others in rumors at least, so I think it's more about making a statement that we aren't just taking crap more than anything else. Reaves is closer to a Bogi replacement than a DJ replacement.
  22. We have a ball dominant, playmaking PG. We don't get the dunks from him, but he drives to the basket for contact or lob every game. This is also likely the next step in JJ's game as he becomes more of a playmaker and handler.
  23. He's destroying GL competition like Jalen did. He's ready for the next step when it comes.
