Trae Young: Surgery on injured finger - Reevaluated in 4 weeks!
shakes replied to JayBirdHawk's topic in Homecourt
no doubt about it. Pound for pound he's the toughest person in the NBA. I'm concerned with the team holding him back for whatever reason. Although at this point in the season with the place in the standings already determined I can't imagine what that reason would be. -
My favorite part of the game was when UConn brought in their athletic undersized center and Purdue went to drop coverage on the PnR. UConn ran two straigt PnRs and got uncontested ally oop dunks for their big because Edey is so slow he couldn't even defend the rim in drop coverage. LOL even my wife made a comment about how he would get killed at the next level after witnessing that display. Anyone wanting to waste a draft pick on him after that display is out to lunch.

Jesus Christ its a pinkie on his non shooting hand. There's no risk at this point. He needs to get some games in if he's going to be ready for the Hawks Super Bowl a/k/a the Play In Tourney. -

Trae hadn't played in so long I forgot he was on the Hawks and not Purdue or UConn. -

if he's cleared for contact he should be in the lineup tonight. It's a pinkie. I'm sure he's been staying in shape and getting his conditioning in while he was off. No reason he shouldn't be able to play tonight. -
looks like it is set in stone, opening round of the playin will feature the Shakes Bowl, Hawks vs Bulls as the teams battle for my allegiance. Little do they know, I've already been sleeping with OKC for months.

It's happening in baseball. Only difference is Porter wasn't smart enough to have a fall guy like the Japanese guy did. -

This Jontay Porter scandal is going to rock the NBA assuming any high level media members have the guts to even cover it. -
I never saw his brother at the same age so don't know for sure, but CDub definitely appears to be much lankier. It all comes down to him putting in the work. As long as he follows his big brother's lead, it shouldn't be a problem. I wouldn't hesitate to grab him if he dropped to ATL. I would consider him with a top 3 pick in this draft.

if he doesn't grow then yes. However, just look at his brother. He's gonna grow and get a lot better, almost guaranteed. Once he puts on weight he's got great size for the wing. I'm willing to bet on the Williams family genes based on how good JDub has turned out to be. CDub was better than JDub at the same age and he's got a bigger frame. Given his lineage I would not put him in the high risk category.
