If we ended up with Da Silva at 15 and CDbub is there at #10 that will be a total disaster. Agree that CDub is a project and won't be ready to contribute much at first, but he has the best genes in the draft and a better starting frame than his big brother. Might have tghe most upside of any player in the draft.
-
draft is weak, but outside chance someone like CDub could slip. Seen him mocked anywhere from #2 to outside the top 10.
-
why chance it? Get that loss tonight and be done with it, start prepping for the draft. Could be a massive diference between 10 and 15.
-
tonight is a must lose game! Can still get a good player at #10, someone really good might even slip that far.
-
If the Hawks lose tonight what draft pick do they get? Or what spot in the lottery to be specific.
-
if that's the difference between being able to draft CDub and not being able to draft CDub then sign me up for a 20 point loss tomorrow and quick exit to the lottery.

Is shitsandwich one word?

The correct phrasing is “we aren’t as bad as them”

damn Hawks, you couldn't help a brother out and win that game last night? Would've given our sister team OKC the #2 seed out west.

the lie is that there's no way I'm skinny enough to pull off wearing multiple jerseys at the same time.

they should skip this travesty of a game and just have Coby White and Trae play 3 rounds of rock, paper, scissors.

sliver lining: We don't have to sit there and watch a first round ass kicking like the last couple years.

Trae Young: Surgery on injured finger - Reevaluated in 4 weeks!

6 weeks. -
Here's what I've learned watching 60+ Thunder games this year. SGA isn't the PG on that team, he's the 2. PG is JDub. Giddey also runs the point. SGA runs it as well. JDub is the best PnR initiator on the team. So they have 3 PGs in the SL. And when any of them rest there is always at least one on the court to run the point.

no doubt about it. Pound for pound he's the toughest person in the NBA. I'm concerned with the team holding him back for whatever reason. Although at this point in the season with the place in the standings already determined I can't imagine what that reason would be. -
My favorite part of the game was when UConn brought in their athletic undersized center and Purdue went to drop coverage on the PnR. UConn ran two straigt PnRs and got uncontested ally oop dunks for their big because Edey is so slow he couldn't even defend the rim in drop coverage. LOL even my wife made a comment about how he would get killed at the next level after witnessing that display. Anyone wanting to waste a draft pick on him after that display is out to lunch.
