    Joe Johnson!

Exactly. That's why he'll get plenty of run with this team.

    Joe Johnson!

Solid game yesterday, nothing spectacular, didn't need to be. He's an ideal player for this squad because of his versatility and ability to handle, defend, and shoot from outside. Our shooting left us in the 2nd half of the game today, but the refs did help us a little bit at the end today.

    Joe Johnson!

By the way, he had 12. Carmelo Anthony left with a hyperextended knee in 1st half after 16 pts. Also, no Dwayne Wade in the 2nd half.

    Joe Johnson!

Big defensive stop and free throw allows USA to hang on against Brazil 90-86.
  5. Sheed is a big head case. With his size and talent, he should have an impact on most games. But he remains very immature. That shot of him sitting at the scorer's table during a time out says it all.
  6. I think his defense is decent but he is known better for his offense. You're right, he's only 23, but when I say vet, I'm talking more on the lines of Joe prior to coming here last year.
  7. Mo Williams of Milwaukee. A very good player with southern roots. With TJ Ford in good health, Williams may be moveable. I think him and JJ would be a nice duo. I don't know what his free agent status is though.
  8. Watch out for Roy Hibbert. He's a 7-2 280lb soph center at Georgetown who is starting to blossom.

    Tonite's game

The team's weaknesses were exposed after a few good wins. Very suspect interior defense, too many outside shots. Ball movement was not good. Marvin looks like he may be ready by the middle of the season.
  10. At 19, he will get stronger. He has to realize that he's the man and that he is deferring to lesser players. Once he realizes this, the sky is the limit because he already has a strong handle, good shooting mechanics, and can finish. I see why he was the no.2 pick.
  11. Thanks Mr. Levenson, 6 tickets for family and friends for 60 bucks. Great seats as well. My hope is that one of the Hawks players steps up and shows some fire. We have some good pieces, but all the personalities appear to be a little laid back.
