  1. Quote: YOU are the one that pushed the situation to where it is now: YOU ARE BANNED FROM HAWKSQUAWK
  2. www.braves-nation.com There are some real smart fans there. You should try it out. This Teixeira stuff better work itself out soon...I'm getting impatient...
  3. That is one of the worst trade proposals I've ever seen. Marvin, Horford, and valuable expiring contracts for Gasol and a more than likely pick in the 20's?? HELL NO!!!
  4. I think he is almost as good of a defender as JJ.
  5. I think Chillz is at his very best when he plays down near around the basket and uses his cutting ability and ability to get garbage points more than anything else... I don't think he plays very well on the perimeter...He can't create his own shot at all, and a SG should be able to do that...His shot mechanics simply won't allow him to ever be one who can create his own jump shots...That doesn't mean he can't be an important player for us though. And, thankfully, if left open, he can hit the open jumper.
  6. I really feel like Law might be THE most important piece to whether we make the playoffs or not this year. Him and MW will determine that, IMO.
  7. in the message...Same thing as putting (nm) at the end of a post title.
  8. The biggest homer on the board vs. the biggest pessimist!
  9. Please sign-in here if you were campaigning for Yi to be our #3 pick. I can't wait to bump this for about the next 5 years to show how stupid that would have been... Off the top of my head, here are some Yi supporters: -Walter -Troy McClure -Diesel -Busboy -JohnnyBravo (I think?) Anyways, please post here to go on record.
  10. No matter how wrong Diesel is, he will never admit it...It's sad to see, especially when he is getting tooled so badly.
  11. Horford should have gone in the 20-25 range from how you talk about him. That's funny, because he was the consensus 3rd best player in the draft. Diesel...I hope you are joking.
  12. Are you kidding?? That's the one thing wrong with his game is that he is not aggressive at all. How many times did Joe take it to the rack and dunk last year?? 2?
  13. This could be a real boring 4 months or so...
  14. Law is no where near Hinrich in terms of talent, but he has similar potential as Hinrich did at his age.

  16. I'm just saying he ain't as bad as people like to make him out to be...It would be completely irrational to label him a "bust" already...That was my point.
  17. Quote: Yes, I would. Carmelo put up a PER of 17.6 his first year and 16.8 his 2nd year before breaking out with a 22+ PER in his 3rd and 4th years. He has scored over 20 ppg every year of his career. MW put up a 12.2 PER his first year and a 12.3 PER his second year. In terms of scoring: 9 ppg his first year and 13 ppg his second year. There is, in fact, nothing similar about the two, and you insult everybody's intelligence by suggesting there is. Now please go ahead and post your bogus stats that suggest they are similar. Here were Carmelo's stats his 2nd year in the league: - .431 FG% - .266 3Pt FG% - .796 FT% - .9 steals/game - .4 bpg - 5.7 rpg - .866 assist to turnover ratio - 20.8 ppg Here were Marvin's stats last year : - .433 FG% - .244 3 point % - .815 FT% - .8 steals/game - .5 bpg - 5.3 rpg - .95 assist to turnover ratio - 13.1 ppg Obviously, Carmelo got the ball a lot more...But their FG %'s are very similar...As are the rest of their numbers. The 3rd year in the league is normally when players have their biggest "jumps" in statistics.
  18. It's very difficult to represent how good an individual player is on defense by using statistics. Where is Bruce Bowen on that list, W??
