  1. He is a set up man. Not a 1st or 2nd option scorer.
  2. Bogans can't shoot.
  3. You can never have enough athletic shooters. I like it.
  4. Exactly. And Pippen ran the team as a point forward. Guys like John Paxson, BJ Armstrong, & Craig Hodges were spot up shooters and extra ball handlers. Pippen usually guarded the tougher wing opponent.
  5. Yes let's focus on the 37th pick. Who?
  6. Reece Gaines was gone people. Diaw's our man, lets be positive about it. Diaw's will be alright.
  7. He supposedly played 2nd fiddle to Pietrus( Pippen -- Jordan).
  8. Diaw will be just fine for the Hawks. Will free up JT to score.
  9. What has happened to the Greek Shaq? This draft has has some supprises.
  10. The original Lebron James Carmelo Anthony: Billy Owens, Syracuse. 4 State titles in High School, Tons of talent, never panned out in the pros. Became a journeyman.
  11. We don't need to give up another 1st round pick. Gaines is good, but there are guys like Diaw, Delfino, Planinic even Marquis Grissom, English that could be had in the later part of the 1st round. Heck a guy like Ezra Williams most likely won't be drafted and could be brought in for a summer run. Williams 6'4" with great handles, can play some point. Great shooter. Wouldn't you bet that Jerry West would like to get his hands on who ever F@#^*d up this years 1st round pick.
  12. I'd be happy with either Diaw or Delfino. Unless something spectacular pops up.
  13. If we could get Hayes at 21st & Diaw with the 2nd round pick I say do it. I've never questioned Hayes ball handling having seen him play this year and last. He's not Scottie Pippen but he's better than Stephen Jackson(San Antonio). I say start Hayes at the SF, and sit Big Dog like Portland did Damon Stoudamire. Maybe then he'llI(G. Rob.) rededicate himself to conditioining and the mindset it takes to be a Pro. Diaw/Terry/Hayes/Rahim/Ratliff.
  14. Exactly! I remember a kid by the name of Daryl Barnes who was a McDonalds All American who played(smile) for Ga.Tech during the Lethal Weapon 3 days. He was 6'7" with mad hops when he came to Tech. Never got off the bench hardly his whole 4 years there. He could jump, block shots, rebound but couldn't shoot, dribble. He also was skinny like Outlaw.
  15. Alexandar Pavlovic but he'll be gone. 1. Diaw -- A 6'9" Jason Kidd type player with defense. 2. Delfino -- 6'7" Mano Ginobli, can handle & shoot, athletic 3. Badiane -- 6'11" Keon Clark with more offense
  16. I'm in total agreement with you. I don't want to see any out of position PG's (5'11"-6'1") Chris Thomas, Troy Bell, TJ Ford, Marcus Banks, Mo Williams, Luke Ridnour or any AI or Dejaun Wagner types. I've become ok with Jason Terry, now we need some athletic true wing players (6'5"-6'9") that can play now. None of those skinny Highschoolers that's gonna take 3-4 years and then may bolt somewheres else. Don't want either of the two big undersized Highschoolers whose weight and conditioning may get out of control. But we do need a legit big man (6'10"-7'+) either out of the draft or free agent/NBDL. No more giving away draft picks either (1st & Early 2nd Rounders) without getting anything good long term. Darius Rice is intriguing for next year. We save our draft pick, he could be the SF of our future. 6'10" long, athletic, good jumpshot, decent ballhandling.
  17. I too rather get Pavlovic with the 21st pick. But Badiane sounds like he's making him some extra money. Villanueava needs to read the handwriting on the wall or he'll be this years DeAngelo Collins, undrafted.
