    Yes, but it still hints at the delusion of the front office. We all know how this season is going to end - though even a second round birth is iffy with this prone-to-collapse bunch. It's a shame, because with a more aggressive approach, this team does have a couple of pieces to make a legit run.

    Actually we won't even get out of the first round this year since it appears we are going to get the #5 seed which mean we won't have home court advantage and will have to play Orlando. I don't see us getting out of the first round unless we overtake Orlando or Chicago for the 3rd or 4th seeds and that is highly unlikely with this bunch of clowns

    How about trading Marvin/Mo for Lowry/Terrance Willams or Chase Budinger? They need another SF since Battier is old and winding down. Lowry is very solid since starting for Brooks while he was out and is an upgrade over Bibby. We also get a possible replacement for Marvin with TWill or Chase. We also would still be under the cap and this improves one of our weaknesses at PG.

    we won't do any trades. This article pretty much says that but I believe it's time to trade Smoove for an elite PG if possible. How can Sund say they think they are in good shape? That is our biggest weakness IMO. We need a true floor general that can dish, defend and score. Bibby is only avg. 3.8ast. a game and can't defend a lick

    I think we definitley need to trade for a legit PG rather than a Center at this point. Just imagine if we even had Rondo? We have no PG on the roster that can actually run the team and dish out the assists. Bibby isn't even averaging 5ast. a game.

    First off, he's not. Second, if he is, then how will we dupe some team into giving up a "real legit PG or superstar player" in exchange for this out of control, overrated complete idiot with a low basketball IQ?

    Uh..yes he is dude. he is a immature clown. The guy sits here and continues to shoot jumpers eventhough he is an awful shooter. PF are not supposed to be shooting 3's the whole friggin game. It's clear Larry Drew is weak and won't discipline him when he does continue take bad shot after shot. Maybe another team with a disciplined coach and adequate ownership can teach Smoove how to be a pro athelete and play to his strenghts. We clearly can't. He is still 24yrs old so any team in the NBA would take him on and see if they can groom him to be the player he should be. It's clearly not happening with Atlanta.

    I'm sure they would but I sure as hell wouldn't, not unless Melo signs an extension with us first. Hell they could have Marvin and JC2 as well if they'd give us Nene!

    yeah I'm assuming we can get Melo to sign the extension or I wouldn't even suggest a trade period. That is a given or we don't trade with them at all.

    Nene and Crawford is basically a straight up trade and their both expiring so you would be the [EDITED BY DOLFAN23], why would the nuggets do that?

    My mistake on Nene as i forgot he was expiring. To get Smoove they would do it. They are not going to lose Melo for nothing are they? We could throw in a 1st rd pick as well.

    So your telling me they wouldn't take Smoove/1st rd pick for Melo instead of losing Melo for nothing at the end of the year?

    Why not go for Kobe and throw in Gasol ? Rose and Noah ? Dwill and Milsap ? Durant and Westbrook ?

    Why not? Because they will be rebuilding either way [EDITED BY DOLFAN23]. They are going to lose Melo in the end and guys like Billups , Kmart and others are old and have bloated contracts who wont' be resigned. They will want to get younger. Getting Smoove who is still only 24yrs old with upside and shedding Nene's big contract is a good start for them. What don't you get here?

    Then after he doesn't resign with the Hawks and skips (little kid style) to New York, then what is our team gonna look like?? You guys kill me with all of these Josh Smith trade scenarios, as if he is bad for this team. If you wanna be smart about this you only trade a valuable asset (Josh Smith) if you are sure Carmelo will resign, otherwise Josh, Al, and maybe Joe stays.

    Duh! Well of course i'm assuming Melo resigns with us or I wouldn't of even posted this.
