Yea I didn't like his shot selection and how he missed Dwight a few times when he was open
I didn't want to say he was bad and he wasn't really good so I thought solid was a good description. But I do understand why you wouldn't even consider him solid with some of the things you listed.
D8 and D17 are still learning to play together. I saw the missed passes to D8 but I also saw D8 looking a bit lost on offense every now and then. There's also less pick-and-roll action than I would expect. This should all improve as the season progresses.
Thoughts on the game overall is that it was a bit sloppy with just about everyone missing layups and open shots. Probably had something to do with the constant fouls.

Damn. I was hoping they would give him one more year.

This team is deep. They are going to give young developing teams fits.

I like how Moose doesn't force his shots and works within the offence to get open looks, and then takes the shot without hesitation.
His defense has been on point as well.

So anxious already to see Bud give him 10 minutes.
I'm with you on this. I think he'll get a lot of playing time against the Spurs on Jan 1. No better way to learn from the guy you are trying to model you gave after than to play against him.

To the haters:
To the Hawks:
To the fans:
A-T-L! A-T-L! A-T-L!

Wow. Box scores for the Pacers look really good. Not sure how much of that is a lack of defense from the Mavs though. If the Pacers keep this up they will be a top 3 team for sure.

Good move on both sides. I like it.

Is game on TV tonight?
I couldn't find it. Just checked the box scores and this a game I would have loved to watch. Hawks are tearing it up.

Even if this guy is a Boston fan, moving Sap to Bos makes no sense because they need a center, not a pf.

At least the man-bun is neater than the hobo-hairdo he was sporting last season.
By the way, Moose is our replacement for Horford. He isnt going anywhere.
Moose isnt flashy but he has been really efficient. Check out his preseason stats. His FG and 3pt % are both above 50. If he keeps this up he will have one hell of a good season.

Has Sap put on some muscle? Dude looked bigger than I remember.

If Dwight has added this to his repertoire then the world better watch out.

Great post @Hawwwwwwwwwwwwwwks. A lot of fans are excited to have Dwight on this team. Can't wait for the season to begin so we can see some real competition.

It looked like he was rushing his shot last night. He needs to slow it down and concentrate on keeping his form smooth.

He was ruined by the time Bud got here. There was absolutely zero player development before.
There is some truth in your statement but Josh's attitude can't be entirely attributed to coaching.

This just showed up on the Twitter feed.
I can't make it this year, unfortunately.

The 10 year old in me says that is the coolest freaking bird statue EVER! Therefore, it is the coolest freaking bird statue EVER!

Not too worried just yet. The Falcons have some work to do but you can see the potential.
The unnecessary penalties were the hardest to watch.

I thought the Falcons defense was decent in the first quarter, despite the lack of sacks.
Our offensive line still worries me a bit. Ryan was still scrambling fairly often.
I hope the Falcons err on the side of caution with Neal's injury and allow him ample time to recover, even if that means he misses 2 regular season games instead of 1.

That'd make our fan base look awful.... Y'all don't understand that stadium is going to be HUGE and we can barely 60% fill up Phillipd Arena
I totally agree. I saw the Hawks vs Bulls in the GA dome years ago when Phillips was being built. They only had seating in half the dome and even then it looked sparse. This was with a good crowd in attendance to see Jordan. The Hawks won by the way.

I will say that Humphries totally sold the refs on that 5th foul on Cousins. Yes, it was a bit of a physical play but not enough to call a foul IMO. But hey, whatever works.
