He's our X-Factor. Need to have him wrapped up or something before the playoffs.

Probably need to start Splitter or Thabo if they want to win 60 games. But I'm guessing Bud is saving them for playoffs.
-
Put Tarvares at center and convince millsap to be an allstar 6th man. Although I would like to see us with healthy Thabo to see our real strength first.
-
If only Thabo was still here, Hawks would probably winning these games in ways that make people want to check them out eg. undefeated streak.
Thabo >>>>> Bazemore
Playoff bench of Thabo, Dennis, Antić would be legendary
-
Man if only Thabo was still here.
-
Nets may have surprised Bud. He's not coaching at full strength I believe. Leave the best for the finals. But now, he may have to show a little more of why he's the coach of the year.
-
Too many damn turnovers between him and teague.
-
Hawks won't be a complete team without Thabo. These games where they got into a double digit lead; most of the time it evaporates like water on a stove. When they were a complete team in January once they got those leads they weren't giving it up.
-
If the Hawks had Thabo, those 16 point lead will escalate and the game wont be this close.
-
Consistency is bazemore's problem. He runs wild and makes simple mistakes, still not good enough at the three point, and isn't playing championship level imo (compared to Thabo). Not having Thabo will cost the Hawks the title. Although I still believe they will be in the finals.

This really sucks.
-
@jaybirdhawk: they're not going to beat the spurs or warriors without thebo. Hawks depend on team play and defense to win the big ones, and bazemore isn't it.

Where can i watch tonights game online?

Bring him home!

I agree. Just taking leadership of the PG role and being the primary ball handler speaks volume. Teague won't never be an assist type PG. He doesn't have court vision of the good PG.
Kind of bummer they match the offer for Teague.
Kind of high price backup in 1 year.

The Shredder is good. Fits his role of the PG shreddng the defense.
-
Excited about our new PG of the future.
I want him to start right away though like they did with TOny Parker and learn from his mistakes since we're not doing anywhere. Or if we do, then he will be the one taking us there and not Teague.
Hate to stash him away for 2 or 3 years. Readon why I didn't like the Teague resigning too much.

Josh doesn't have an offensive game otherwise. He needs to stick with being a team player and focus on defense and rebounding and dunks. An ultra-athletic forward who can't even hit free throws insists on being a jump shooter with consistently disastrous results. I've seen at least 90% of Josh's ~650 games and it still boggles my mind.

I'm a Josh Smith fan, but he's doesn't play championship basketball... takes too many ill advise jumpers and passes.I'd put him on the bench but he'll probably demand a trade if that's the case. So it's best to trade him.

I know they're on different levels but Malone attempted a third more field goals than Horford. Horford right now 19ppg with 14fga. Horford need to attempt 17-20 field goals per game because I think he's a good #1 option right now on the team.Horford is on his age 26 season. During his age 24 season, Karl Malone averaged 27.7 ppg. During his age 25 season, Malone averaged 29.1 ppg. During his age 26 season, Malone averaged 31.0 ppg. Karl Malone would never have deferred to Josh Smith. I get that Horford is reasonably athletic and has a nice jumper, but saying he is or could be Malone-like is like saying that Lou Williams could be Isiah Thomas-like. They are just on really different levels.
Need a guy that can make 3s and stretch the floor. Maybe Tolliver can take his place if he doesn't pan out.Start Korver? Korver is hot garbage
-
I think Horford can be a Malone like player but with Josh Smith there, he's seems to be not as aggressive. I like Josh Smith come in from the bench. Josh probably won't like that but I think it would benefit the team. Harris, Josh, Lou--- yeah that's pretty good bench.Starting Lineup:Teague,StevensonKroverHorfordZaza Bench:JoshLouHarrisIvan

Guess TD knew what he's doing when he traded all those picks for Julio.

There's no cure for Josh now. He is what he is.

They need to get him back to being a 3pt specialist instead of letting him being a scorer.
