With our current roster I don't believe that we are a playoff team.

Heat, Boston, Nets, Knicks, Pacers....those are the teams clearly ahead of us Orlando, Chicago...those are the teams that won't make it into the playoffs this year but did last year That leaves three spots up in the air for the Hawks. I believe we are the sixth best team in the east even without Joe.

I believe the slow down by JJ this year will surprise everyone. He will have the ball in his hands far less this year.

Joe already had the ball less in his hands last year and his efficiency and scoring production increased compared to the year prior. Josh led the team in usage rate last year but had his offensive efficiency go down. If anything this shows that Joe will become a better player with Deron and Josh will not fare so well as the first option.

Joe is a good player, we don't need Jordan Crawford to prove that point, fans should know regardless.

Saying that jj and Harris are even is ludicrous

Smoove is our leader and the face of our franchise now. Im pretty happy Ferry showed him some love and got him on board with his future plans. Whether you like it or not ( Im fine with it ) we need Josh Smith.

I actually have a feeling that this team will be better than lasts, just because of the upgraded shooters that we have on the team (morrow, jenkins). Also, I think that Harris will be a suprise for us. But I also know that we will not beat the Heat with our lineup. The worse part about having a good team next year is that we won't get a high draft pick (star player) and will still be a treadmill team because our two best players play the same position.

If anything, we won't deal this offseason, we will trade at the deadline. Alot of different things could happen by then.Who knows, maybe one of Jeff, Al, or Josh becomes a superstar and we trade to build around them. I predict that one of those three will average 20+ ppg and have this team .500 by the trade deadline. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Dude, no one is putting words in your mouth. Someone said that JJ is a top 3 SG in the league. In response, you said this: You clearly were listing players that you thought were, right now, better players than JJ. No one in the NBA world thinks that Jason Terry - who never made an All-Star Game even in his prime - is better than JJ. They aren't even in the same league. You justify it by giving JET handicaps for pace and minutes played. But I guess you're ignoring the fact that JJ is double-teamed every time he touches the ball whereas JET hasn't seen a double team in so long that he'd probably drop a deuce on the court if he saw one.
