This is not the bs BK team from early in the regular season.  I'm as guilty as anyone of underestimating this team.  I was disappointed with the Hawks performance after the game 1 win until someone on the board pointed out ,on another thread, how much BK has improved since they acquired Thaddeus Young.  

D Will and Jack both played ~26 minutes.  Jack 's ±17 pts;  D Will's ± 3 pts.

This is a good thing for the Hawks.  People on here are talking smack about MGJ but don't know the first thing about him.   He's a good man and he cares more about Atlanta and the Hawks than many of us will ever know. 

When's the last time some of you have been to a game? It seems like some of you should spend more time supporting the team and less time questioning the fans who do.

The notion that fans are bandwagoners if they participate in a chant you don't like is incredibly off base. The 6th man section usually starts the ATL chant and thats the most dedicated fans you will find. We are all bandwagoners if they are.

If I had my way all those people would be banished for life.  Most of those people are from Tennessee, Alabama, and Florida anyway.    

I've heard good things about Hakeem's big man summer camp.  Anyone knows of a bunny camp we can get Teague in over the summer.

Keep in mind these are the same people who shout "A T L" as if no one knows the team plays in and is named for the city of Atlanta..

Just a bunch of bandwagoners.   

I think Korver is a man of logic so I don't expect him get caught in a fan-media manufactured controversy.    I hope his mind is on winning a title and not on earning more respect from Hollins or getting oohs and aahs from the fans.

No booing on Wednesday.  Anyone caught booing will have to answer to me.  

Same goes for the silly "A.T.L." chant.  

 

 

An argument can be made that Hawks fans should be thanking Johnson. Besides getting a 2013 first-round pick, a condition of the trade that sent him to the Nets allowed Atlanta to swap first-round picks with the Nets this season, meaning the Hawks will select 15th rather than 29th. The trade exception they received helped them land Kyle Korver. If that's not enough, the Hawks also have the Nets' 2017 second-round pick. That certainly sounds like something worth cheering about, but there's a slim chance Johnson will hear any of that on the road in this series.

I have to say I really hated all the Joe booing. He has been a good Hawk for many years (probably one of the best ever, sad to say). Sure he was overpaid but what was he supposed to do, say no to money? I think this makes our fan base look bad.

I thought it was pretty dumb.  Joe was traded so why in the hell is anyone booing him.  Save the silly booing for the man who paired him with this list of PGs

At what point did I say I found no joy in watching the Hawks?  If that were the case, i wouldn't have watched 90% of the games over the past 30 years.  I watched the game with my kids and at times, we were all dancing and screaming in the living room - especially on those late clutch shots (and pretty much any time Korver hit a 3).  I enjoyed the game and I'm happy we won.  

 

I am not happy with the way we won and I'm concerned about playing that way vs. better teams.

That is the thing some don't get.  Even Teague said as much.  That was not championship ball yesterday especially considering the Hawks are a #1 playing a #8.  They better play more fluid on offense or this dream season will come an ugly end soon.

Moose earned minutes.  I know Bud's love affair with Pero will never die but damn, we all witnessed Moose outplay Pero down the stretch.

Mack is too up and down.  When he's good he's a solid piece but when he's bad he's rec-league bad.
