ZaZa and Ho are playing some damn good ball tonight

Flip is a career 28% shooter from 3 but is 6-13 from 3 so far this year. He also shot them well in preseason.

I certainly have no objection to Flip having a career year in a Hawks uni.

On this team he doesn't have to. If Marvin can knock down those shots especially from beyond the arc, then that makes this team so much more dangerous. We don't need Marvin to dominate the ball with guys like Joe Johnson and Josh Smith. Although when one of them is having an off night, I would like to see Marvin be more assertive. He did on that one occasion when he went down the court after grabbing a rebound and with a heat check jumper that forced them to call a T.O.

He's just got to take more shots in the 2nd half.

which is one thing that kills me about Marvin. He starts out hot then he seem to get lost in the 2nd half. and it's not every now and then, it's every game. Do a check on his 1st 1/2 half point vs his 2nd half point and I bet it's at least a 3 to 1.

Game over and goodnight for the rest of the league because this team would be damn near unstoppable. I've been killing him for a long time but it's nice to see him playing his game for once. I don't see Marvin becoming a player that can create off the dribble but he can make a living at draining open looks when Joe draws the double.

Acie has not shown enough to warrant trading the starting point guard. Also, the old adage goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I don't think we should start changing things up when obviously things are working for us right now.

I agree Bibby has been rough so far but you better get a starting PG back if you trade him.

and you can also say that Bibby hasn't shown enough to warrant keeping him around. I'd be very suprised if he's still a Hawk after the trade deadline.

I didn't see anything worthy of praise out of Mo and Flip. Flip is a shot chucker and he makes me cringe when he has the ball. We just abandon an offensive scheme when Flip gets the ball because he's going to take the shot. It was one play where Flip did score on a layup. As the play developed, Horf was wide open in the paint for seconds and Flip never contemplated passing.

All and all, I don't like what I see with Flip. Mo is different because he plays defense but I think we will miss Chillz. Especially with Marvin doing nothing.

i agree with you on flip. His game is pretty much catch-and-shoot.

Last year, Marvin's bad play was because of Chillz.

Before Chillz it was because of Al Harrington.

Now It's because of Woody...

We'll never know, if Woodson never calls any plays for him or has player set a screen or two for him.

Marvin is a player who needs to be setup to score. I'm beginning to think he'd be better on a different team.

and yes he'll never be a player that can create his own shot. Either start calling more screens for him or trade him

I forgot Marv played in the game. He didn't do jack spuat today.
