The fact is Teague got some minutes after trade and he produced. He had several good games throughout the season after which some argued that he earned consistent playing time just to see him getting another DNP or 3-6 minutes game from the coach. I hope this time LD realizes this.

Another problem is Joe making lots of TOs lately. He looks so slow. His inside game is excellent though. I wish he put all things together and played like he's capable to.
-
It was just too much Teague for veteran Andre Miller who looked like 50 years old scoring only 1 point and missing all his 8 FG attempts.
-
He barely touches the ball when his at PG spot and when he was played at 2 they just frozed him to the point he couldn't hit a shot when he finally had a chance.
-
His work inside vs Aldridge was excellent on both sides of the court.
-
There are reasons Bulls are the best rebounding team in the league - they hustle, they outbox, they crowd the paint and, last but not least, they know their positions when the ball is shot. Effort and discipline.
A couple of times there were two bulls attacking offensive glass and one hawk close to the rim. On defensive glass three Bulls players crash the boards almost every time.

We don't have any great slashers but in starting line up anyone can drive the ball to the basket given the opportunity. And this could be created by setting the screen for the guy with the ball. Hawks rarely do that, and when, it is mostly intended for pick'n'pop play with Al.
-
I'm surprised how well Kirk has been shooting the ball as a Hawk and he doesn't get that many good looks. He is good defender, anyone watching games shouldn't doubt it. Maybe some folks think that good defender wins every one on one situations and hence the confusion?

He is actually doing the opposite of everything he said he would do at the start of the season.
But he'd been doing majority of them in first part of the season. Ball movement was very good, chemistry was there. The team was prepared for every game, he adjusted rotations to explore opponents weaknesses, he was keeping successful line-ups longer to keep momentum, defense was really good at times too. He was even giving Teague some minutes. Drew drew some successful plays late in tied games. One could think he's going to be a good coach.
Maybe he told something in the locker room after one of those epic losses and players turned away from him.
-
- dreadful rotation
- keeping players on the court no matter how bad they play
- not exploiting favorable match ups
- no flow on offense
- not developing Teague
- and finally - not taking time out when opposing team makes run
Last thing really stroke me - Drew was preventive in the first half while in the second, when Hawks had cold start, he didn't do anything.
He didn't react on Rose having good quarter either. How can you have Crawford and Zaza on the court at the same time against one of the best penetrating PGs in the game?
- dreadful rotation
-
Let's just say it was disappearance act in the second half from entire team including coach. Well JJ woke up when it was already double digit deficit.
As someone already wrote - kudos to Kirk and Damien for playing with heart.

I like to watch:
Nash
Ray Allen
Andre Iguodala
Wade (when he doesn't throw his body around hoping for "star call")

Look at his stats from the last 2 years against the Hawks and you'll see why I'm glad he's not playing ...
Year GP MIN FGM-FGA FG% 3PM-3PA 3P% FTM-FTA FT% OR DR REB AST BLK STL PF TO PTS
2010 1 38.0 18.0-24.0 .750 3.0-5.0 .600 2.0-5.0 .400 3.0 3.0 6.0 8.0 0.0 1.0 0.0 4.0 41.0
2011 2 36.0 6.0-12.0 .500 3.0-6.0 .500 0.0-0.0 .000 0.5 1.0 1.5 7.5 0.0 1.5 2.5 3.5 15.0
[/code]I remember last year sweep when he was too quick even for JJ and we couldn't stop him but things has changed.

I don't understand your concerns about Nate. It's not like Bibbs or Jamal would guard him.

Please don't get me wrong. I know it's possible for it to happen. Jesus raised himself from the dead, Lazarus, and Jairus' daughter. I truly believe it can happen. I'm just saying as a Christian, I'm skeptical. What is the reason God would allow someone to have a NDE? Many claim it's so they will change their lives and tell others to change theirs. I'm simply reminded of that story is all I was saying.
I know "all things are possible" with God. I'm just not sure how I feel about the validity of the claims is all.
I'm not talking possibilities because we're already discussing within Christian worldview.
I just want to point out that those resurrected people had the same "advantage" that you think people after NDE have over other people, which is confidence about true morality and afterlife. So if Jesus gave them this chance it can't be bad or unfair, same goes for those who had NDE.
-
I think Hollinger has hidden homer in him, he's just scared to show him on daily basis not to get embarrassed by the Hawks performance.
-
The very link you pointed to says he was never medically near death? Where are you getting the 3 hours from?
I don't remember to be honest, I read some articles and saw some interviews some time ago and I think it was him who told that.
-
I've always thought birth has an uncanny tie in to what people experience in a NDE. The darkness surrounding and then the light? Imagine that we have our birth experience deep with in the recesses of our minds. The God figure could very well be a doctor or medical attendant etc.
That's interesting hypothesis but it doesn't fit well with what people after NDEs actually say. They don't talk about some blurred vision but a sharp, very concrete but hard to describe experience. And some of them talked to Jesus/angels/whoever they think they saw. They remember it well. Watch some interviews on YT, Howard Storm is an interesting example.
The bible says a man dies, but once and then the judgment. In a since I think it would be cheating to have certain individuals have life changing experience of meeting God and then return. There is no faith involved with that.
People will be judged according to what they were given. How about those who saw Jesus, heard Him speaking and saw His deeds? Not much room for faith there. Yet still Judas betrayed. Even Apostles still had to make choices, follow what they thought was good and, as human beings, made many mistakes. Being convinced what's right and what's wrong doesn't make your life an easy walk.
-
I must admit, that I'm honestly VERY skeptical of all NDE claims because I'm reminded of a story in the Bible. There was a man who died and was facing judgement. He begged God to let him go back and to tell his family that God's judgement was real and to turn from their evil ways. God basically replied, if they can't believe in me with all the signs I've given them already, they won't believe it coming from you even in a resurrected form.
How that makes you skeptical about NDEs? This is allegoric prophesy about Jesus resurrection.
Jesus resurrected himself some people, Lazarus including.

Al and Joe stepped up in Denver but they needed help and they didn't get it.
Chicago is not good offensive team, that gives me some hope.
Al has always abused Noah so I have no doubt about him, Joe on the other hand might have a hard time, Chicago is a great defensive unit.
Edit: ERRR just noticed Josh is out tonight. This is going to be tough.
Who's going to guard Boozer?

As much as I hate to say it............................ If josh smith can't play, we won't fare very well against those teams. Why Sund seem to thin Al and Joe are the untouchables on this team is beyond me. We done well when JJ, Jamal and/or Al were absent. But if Smith goes down, we don't seem as impressive.
I am glad Sund wasn't able to trade Smith when he was trying to trade Zaza. With the way Smoove has been mixing his inside and outside game and improving the defense in to top 5 because of Kirk's acquisition, we are a whole new ball club. I would rather Sund trade Jamal. He is looking like the Jamal we all came to expect. He is putting up his usual career avg numbers and always kills us in the fourth quarter against better teams when he is stacking bricks. I would like for us to start closing the game out more with Josh and Al as our primary options.
I agree with everything you wrote except doing well without Al. Last time Al was hurt Hawks had epic collapse.
-
Anre Miller was able to bully Kirk when he wanted to the other night.
What? I remember Miller doing it was once and it was very close to offensive foul.

Smoove's block stats dropped also because of ... counting. Here's an exercise for non-belivers: count his blocks during the game and then check the box score. He's robbed on block or two almost every game.

From a scan of both articles, it looks like the difference with the newer study is the element of placing the images around the patients so that you can test whether the memories tie out to the actual surroundings. The first study looks like it was assessing and cataloging what the patients said they remembered without any way to test the validity of those memories.
In both cases, it is very interesting stuff and strikes me as the kind of science that is in its infancy and subject to dramatic changes in the future. Everyone seems to agree that the NDEs are something consistently experienced by almost 20% of people but no one has offered any ability to do more than theorize about the cause or opine about the reliability of the content of those memories.
I read a study that listed several cases when patients after NDEs were aware of things they couldn't have known even when they were conscious and had eyes open. TBH I thought is was the one I gave a link to, but it's not. So either the details about it were in the link that is on the top of the article and is not working anymore, or simply it was different one (in that case I don't have a link to it), which is a shame.
We need this Starting lineup
in Homecourt

Zaza stands no chance against bigger centers with low post game which Camby has not. We need to adjust our frontcourt on per game basis like LD successfully did earlier in the season.
