I definitely think Nique loves the new offense....you can tell from some of his commentary last night: " They got niimbers Bob" "Heat Check" and who could forget.... "Uh, That's a heat check Bob" Nique adds so much to the broadcast.....

What about a the good ol' reliable a-hole chant? A**HOLE A**HOLE A**HOLE Simple...yet it get's the point across. Or do you think it'll be to offensive to the surrounding kids and parents?

I like it! Also, just googled and he was arrested in 2003 for domestic abuse. Would it be too terrible to incorporate that into something?

Kurt Thomas played extremely dirty the other night. I'm hoping we can start some evil chants tonight to make him feel VERY unwelcome in Phillips Arena. How can I spread this message to more fans attending the game? also... Any good ideas for some ruthless chants?

I love Steve's calls. I really wish he was our TV play by play guy. Bob Rathbun is lame. Maybe the radio and tv guys could switch. Nique is dreadful.... "Heat Check" "They got nimbers" "You gotta score more points to win this game Bob" It's really tough to watch a broadcast with those two. Steve Holman on the other hand seems to know the game well and more importantly is extremely passionate about the Hawks. Why not move him to TV? Just for sheer entertainment purposes at least?

Lots and lots of "good ol boys" in those arenas.... I'd steer clear of the marketing position as one person suggested....doesn't seem to be your strong suit...

aha! whoops... my fault...i totally read that wrong...sorry well either way...if that is the case how is he allowed to rip the players but not the coach. how does woodson get a pass from the ajc....how and why? i need to understand why there are never articles from our local paper on the ineptitude of our coach. how and why is woodson protected from criticism but the players are not.

my whole point is we cannot keep letting our beat writer and our paper avoid saying anything negative about coach woodson. it is not fair to blame our players every time and not let coach take some heat. ajc has not run an anti woodson article for as far as i can remember. 790 the zone spent 3 hours bashing josh smith after reading the article this morning. i get it...josh is in a slump...but why does no one in the media address our idiot coach? we do! everytime i am on this site of the hawks blog about 80% of the people complain about woody. yet no one in the media steps up and says anything. and when they do all blame is put on the players......this can't go on.

He actually does submit his opinions on the players and their performance. If you read his blogs he's always happy to tell everyone about how bad josh is playing or how no one can hit a free throw. It seems they only clamp down and tell him he can't talk about the Coach. Like they said "Sekou, you can have this blog and talk about the players all you want...but please don't say anything negative about our coach". That's really strange. And now there's another Josh Smith bashing article up by Jeff Shultz. I guess the AJC thinks we have the greatest Coach in the NBA considering they blame every thing that goes wrong on the players.

Might want to read what I said again. I never said Sekou could change Josh Smith's play. I said he calls out players but never the coach. Like it's easy for him to tell us Josh Smith has been inconsistent. But apparently it's off limits for him to tell us Woody is not doing well as a coach. Tell me how many times have you seen our beat writer or anyone in the Media say something about our well below .500 coach? Why do they avoid saying anything about Woodson? Why are there no AJC articles about him? I don't get it!

The season before last? That's a long long time ago. If that's the last time Woodson has been called out by Atlanta media that's sad. His record speaks for itself. Someone in the AJC or Atlanta Media needs to call out this idiot. Someone needs to explain to me why Sekou avoids saying anything about Coach. Are they friends? Would the AJC really fire Sekou if he bad mouthed the coach? I'm just confused as to why every time we lose big Sekou puts it on the players shoulders and never addresses coaching.

I'm sick of reading his blogs. He'll rip every single player on the team but not once will he bring up coaching. Is Woody his best friend or am I missing something? I saw someone on a blog bring it to his attention that he won't say anything negative about Woody and he responded "I want to keep my job". So he's allowed to rip the team but not the coach? Someone please explain this to me. It's got to get old for him trying to put a positive spin on things. We're getting blown out and all he can talk about is Josh Smith's inconsistent play. Some of this needs to fall on the coaches shoulders yet Sekou is to afraid to admitt this. Am I the only one who wants a beat writer who'll speak the truth?

If I see those douchebags jumping in the pool one more time I will go completely insane. Is there any way we can get sprite to send Sportsouth a NEW ad? That's two straight years of seeing that thing 20 plus times a game. And with the amount of dumbass Woodson timeouts we really go to commercial break a lot more than most teams I'm sure. "Hey, we're on a run and looking strong out there....TIMEOUT fellas...let's cool off...and while we're at it...let's cool off by drinking sprite and jumping in a pool to a really awful song"... Sorry, I just needed to vent...

Woody does do one thing amazing. He is awesome at frowning and folding his arms. If our record in the NBA were based upon how well our coach frowns and folds his arms we'd be at the top. Seriously though, other coaches are up and down the court yelling at their players and calling plays. Ours stands there like a pouting sad little kid who's ice cream was just stolen. Explain that to me! It concerns me....I don't think he's the smartest dude we could have in there. Maybe one of our assistants has some energy and fire but we don't know about it because they're stuck in his shadow. To me it all boils down to playcalling. I see players rolling their eyes when he calls a timeout and puts a play on the clipboard. Remember when we had AJ last year...during one timeout you could read the veteran's lips as he saw the play on the clipboard and said..."what the f*ck"! I'm sure it was "ISO JOE". Is that his only play call? We've lost numerous games because we put it in Joe's hands and he's tripple teamed. Do we have a back up play...like "ISO JOE...but if Joe is tripple teamed....kick it out"..There will be guys standing wide open half the time as joe tries to dribble away from 2 or 3 defenders. I really wish Coach Woodson wasn't here but it's what we have to deal with considering our ownership is so jacked they probably just check the paper and see what our record is. As long as we stay above .500 this becomes a mute point as they will never see what we see night in and night out.... I doubt the owners even watch any Hawks games... Point Being...We're destined for mediocrity with Coach Droopy...
