I hope he gets to play more than just a few token minutes.  He has earned the right to play some real minutes.  Like Jay Bird said, he should have been on the team without waiting to be an injury replacement.

Hawks are interested in Gordon Hayward as a buyout target and they have major money to spend to sign him. 

Bey is really getting a lot of calls and he could be moved but Atlanta wants to keep him. 

Delon Wright is a target for the Hawks as is Issac Okoro. There is no guarantee Atlanta will get one but they are targeting them. 

Hawks are heavily shopping Patty Mills and A.J. Griffin. Griffin price tag is high is what I was told. Mills has been packaged with a 2nd rounder. 

No update on anyone else in the core. Like I said, the summer will be lit. June and July. Hawks really want another wing and badly. I don't believe they will get one but Hayward will be a serious target. 

This is a not a big market. But I expect DFS, Dennis Smith Jr, Grimes, O'Neale and the big dawg, Miles Bridges to be traded tomorrow. Most teams are standing pat. 

Does Hayward play defense?  I don't recall seeing him play defense much, but he misses a lot of games.  He doesn't  seem to be as good on offense anymore either.

That's where this started. Then when LP got fired they most likely laid it at Trae's feet. The coaches association had much to say about LPs firing, but have not heard a peep regarding Griffin.

It's a popular theory, whether true or not, I don't know.

If Ressler's goal is all about selling the team to make money for himself, he's shooting himself in the foot.  Who wants to buy a losing team that gets worse over the passage of time?   If he puts the team up for sale while its value continues to plummet, he is penny wise and pound foolish. How did he ever get rich in the first place?  I believe Trae doesn't get picked for all-star games because the team continues to decline.  The only way to win is to stop  being cheap and to spend some more money to get some more good players, but I think the "cheap" reputation makes players lose interest in coming here.  I know I've said bad things about Trae, but he deserves to be an all-star.  How can a 27 & 10 guy not be an all-star?  I think things like this rest squarely  on the shoulders of Ressler.  In time Trae  will grow tired of losing and the empty promises of Ressler, and want to leave the Hawks.  Then what's left of your fan base goes away.  I agree with Diesel.  Resller needs to sell the team.

I don't believe that your list was comprehensive enough..  None of the choices were the primary problem in my opinion.  This team is just a hot mess, from top to bottom.

I don't see a response for, Bad management/ownership.  That would be my choice.

There was a statement in Givemesome1ce1's post about players being uncoachable.  When Trae has had his fill of a coach, he starts his obvious tendency to ignore the coach during time outs.  No, he doesn't pitch temper tantrums in an outward manor, he just drops subtle hints (but they are obvious to anyone who actually watches the players during timeouts.)

Again, offer any team with a "superstar" if they would trade their star for Trae straight up (ignoring salary cap issues.)  I guarantee you that they would refuse.  The league players dislike him so much, that he is rated much lower than his stats suggest.

Oh, I don't know.  Maybe it's take so many shots every game despite the fact that he is a mediocre shooter.  He is genuinely a gifted passer.  However, he makes stupid decisions, and drives all the way under the basket surrounded by big guys.  He never has figured it out.  How long will it take.  He's out to make a name for himself, and could care less about the team, hence we are perennial underachievers.

Y'all can absolutely be fine with a guy acting like he’s uncoachable and having temper tantrums every game at this point. I’m not. He’s clearly influencing how this team’s playing and affecting what little morale we have. If Landry cared about the team, this dude would’ve been off the team already. 
 

The single worse decision this team could make is to keep Dejounte past the deadline and let him complain and affect everyone the rest of the season. I know some of yall don’t care, but if this team actually wants to win games in the future, they don’t need such a negative presence.  We aren’t going to a big return for Dejounte, so just take what we can get and deal with it.

Same behavior Trae has been displaying for years.  Ask any team with a "superstar" if they would trade their superstar straight up for Trae.  You'd get laughed out of the room.

murray and Synder are fighting almost publicly…can you imagine if Trae did that ??? 

That's not Trae's style.  He just looks disinterested in time outs.

It's not about pacifying Dejounte or Cam or anyone else because I think they're our savior. We can have our disagreements about what the Hawks should do, but it should be clear that what they have actually done in reality is set us back more and more. Selling low on Dejounte doesn't fix anything.

Selling low - It's our standard mode of operation now.

Wasn't there talk of Trae beginning to play off the ball (i.e. a 2 Guard)?  If he had been told that was going to happen and it didn't, which wouldn't shock me, knowing our lousy front office, I can understand his frustration.  I guess Trae can throw the biggest temper tantrum, and as always, he wins for whatever reason.  DJM took a lower $ contract to stay here.  That would indicate he was misled my management, and possibly ownership.  I wish we could unload both of them at this point.
