  1. Thanks. Sounded too good to be true....go Hawks and whoever is facing the Nets!
  2. So we get to swap first rounders with the Nets no matter what or is their pick protected? As of right now, they'd have the 15th pick at 9-12, but they're playing really awful. We could potentially get a top 10 pick from them.
  3. I would sure hope that this team would try to make a hard ru nat Paul if he were to be on the block. After the move by the Heat, Paul could potentially put us up there at the top along with Orlando, Boston, and Miami. Finding a really good PG is one of the toughest things to do in the league, so having one that is not only one of the best, but young would be unreal for this organization. We still need to add size inside, but it's become apparent that it is much easier to sign serviceable big men via free agency to a minimum contract deal over the past recent years that could greatly help a team. Not only would adding Paul greatly improve the team, but attendence would go up greatly, and more players would be willing to play here that could help us. It's all a pipe dream, but the idea of adding someone at the level of Chris Paul is very exciting, but probably unrealistic.
  4. Boy would it suck if D Wade's injury history cameback on him. :Rolls my eyes:
  5. Good news Hollinger. Carlos Boozer has signed with the Chicago Bulls which means that your idiotic system won't list the Utah Jazz as a contender ahead of the Lakers next year and make you look like a moron.
  6. This would be a great get in my opinion. Shaq is a shadow of what he used to be, but he brings mental toughness and is not afraid of any player in the league. It seems that he dislikes Howard as it is due to the whole superman name, and after watching Howard's record setting fg percentage vs us in the playoffs, we could use a player like Shaq. I'm not confident in his ability on offense anymore, but I am more than confident he can still contain the best of the best for 20 minutes a night.
  7. I think we should be willing to go through the growing pains with Teague as our starter. The majority of the board is well aware that this team isn't going to be a title contender in the near future, unless a huge trade goes down which is not likely, so why not install a young PG into the lineup who is more than capable of outperforming the guy who started last season? Teague is extremely fast, and still needs to work on his shot and cut down the turnovers, but we need to play a more uptempo style, and Mike Bibby is simply too slow and old to play such a tempo. Numerous times Bibby got burned on defense last year by much quicker point guards, and Teague's speed and better defensive ability will greatly help us in my opinion. I can easily see Teague starting the year with a lot of struggles, but gaining a lot of valuable experience that helps him ease into the role and play a lot better as the season progresses. That's much more exciting to look forward to than an old, slow point guard who no longer has any potential.
  8. Atlanta is shopping small forward Marvin Williams, who regressed a little after a promising 2008-09 season. The Warriors have already contacted the Hawks and might call Houston, if swingmen Trevor Ariza and Shane Battier are really on the trade block. San Francisco Chronicle Saw this on hoopshype, so maybe the Marvin rumor does have legs. If Battier was on the block as stated, that would be a trade idea to really explore in my opinion. Ariza makes too much money to consider, but I love that Marvin is on the block even if it may just be for cap space..
