Look at Kevin Garnett, he would have wasted his career with the Timberwolves. If the organization is good they can help bring a championship but look at the Cavs, they are terrible. The owner, coach (former coach), and players are all a joke. Without Lebron, that team would struggle to win 20 games.

What's wrong with fighting for a championship? The Cav's had SEVEN years to get it right. The strange thing is that noone complains when an organization throws players under the bus but now they are supposed to be obligated to a losing club.

The Hawks still hold the rights to Josh Childress. His cap hold is $10.89 million (300% of $3.63 million, his final year’s pay). That cap hold takes the Hawks well over next year’s salary cap ($59.5 million to $61.8 million). If the Hawks rescind their rights to Childress then they’ll be back to the above figures. I do want the Hawks to re-sign Childress so I’m going to ignore the cap hold for the rest of the post (rather than changing the post) but be aware that it exists. So now we have Horford up next year. This will RAVAGE THE TEAM for the next six yrs+. Reminds me SO MUCH of Nique and how we didn't care about winning.

This reminds me of when we had Nique, we should have traded him and gotten TONS of stuff. Instead we kept him WAY to long and got nothing. Now we stand to lose Childress because he knows we can't afford him if we get Iso Joe.
