  1. I know Dedmon's profile says he's 7', but there's no way. For reference, Pau is 7'1" and Lamarcus is 6'11". Our boy Dewayne might be 6'10". Every center in the league is going to struggle against Embiid/Jokic/KAT, but I think Capela can do a solid job on the first two. KAT you just need someone who will guard him out to 3, his post game isn't his strength.
  2. Raps picking up the Hawks scraps to fill out the bench feels real nice.
  3. I think Philly adding shooting with Danny Green and Seth Curry will really help them tbh.
  4. I think with mentioning the PF depth, he's alluding to us potentially making a move with JC
  5. Also, I keep reading stuff like this (Hollinger on The Athletic) : In the meantime, the Hawks got a solid minimum contract guy in forward Solomon Hill. A cynic would argue he is now the backup-backup-backup-backup-backup power forward behind John Collins, Danilo Gallinari, De’Andre Hunter and Onyeka Okongwu, but it also adds fuel to another theory: That the Hawks might not be done making moves yet, even if Bogdanovic ends up a Hawk on Tuesday. Not sure I want any more moves after Bogi, but it should be an interesting couple weeks.
  6. So CBS Power Rankings have east teams in the following order : Bucks (2) Heat (3) Celtics (4) Raptors (6) Nets (8) 76ers (9) Pacers (14) Hawks (18) Magic (19) Hornets (23) Bulls (24) Wizards (25) Pistons (27) Knicks (28) Cavs (29) You guys agree with the teams ranked ahead of us? I can see the case for everyone but I think we outclass the Pacers at this point if the Bogi signing goes through. East is strong AF at the top now.
  7. Spurs need to tank next year, get a strong pick and have all the cap space from Derozan/Aldridge contracts being up, or flip one of those guys to a contender for assets. They definitely aren't making the west playoffs.
  8. Was driving all day yesterday so I didn't get a chance to react to the potential Bogi signing, but I'm really fascinated by this lineup. We'd get smoked on defense but damn if they can't shoot the rock. Trae (36%) - Huerter (38%) -Bogi (37%) - Gallo (41%) - JC (40%)
  9. Could Bucks be a darkhorse for GH SnT? I can't imagine Boston would want to send him there though.
  10. I'm not sure where y'all are getting $30M/yr from. I don't see anybody offering him that, his $34M this year was considered way more than he was worth. If he resigns with the Celts it'll be on the cheap in the hopes he gets a chip, if he signs with ATL or NY I can't see either of them throwing more than low $20s. I could be wrong though, but I don't think Travis is a dummy.
  11. Unless he really is considering a team friendly deal to stay on a winner.
  12. Celts Homer, but interesting
  13. If Heyward decides to go to New York over ATL, it's about the bag, not winning.
  14. Apparently Dedmon getting traded again as well
