People giving up fandom over this? Being a fan is about experiencing the good and the bad. Don't just give up on the team because of a bonehead trade. Lets think of the positives if this goes down: What if Nelson come in and starts playing at his all star level we all know he can? He's a fantastic player when he plays to the fullest of his ability and could really help the team giving us a legit PG. We would get alot of depth from this as well as a solid SF in Anderson. We would be saving a nice sum of money in the long run Were still a playoff team even if this trade goes down, not to mention the extra cap room we'll have in the future to pick up key pieces. This looks like a bad trade up front, but for all we know it could work out and we could be a better team when it's all said and done. Yes this trade has a better chance of going wrong than working out, but it could indeed work out. Only time will tell.

West's stats are only slightly better, but take championships into account and Bryant is without a doubt better than West. SG: 1. Jordan 2. Bryant 3. West 4. Wade 5. Robinson On Power Fowards if you have Malone and Barkley in your top 5 you sure as heck should have Dirk.That championship he has alone but's him above the two in my opinion not to mention he had a historic run. Based on that alone I don't like him at #3. Back to Malone, he may have a statistical advantage, but we have to remember he played with arguably the best PG of all time in Stockton. Plus Malone was a huge choker come playoff time. You could tell me you'd rather have Malone lead your team in the playoffs than Dirk. My PF top 5: 1. Duncan 2. Kevin Garnett 3. Dirk 4. Karl Malone 5. Charles Barkley Last real gripe is how can a top 10 player all time in Shaq be only the 5-7 best center? It makes no sense at all. I would take Shaq over Russell all day because all those championship he won when there was only 8 teams in the league, arguably over Wilt. Wilt's stats were inflated but they were just so rediculous you can kinda overlook that. I would take Shaq over Malone ALLLLLL DAY as well as Mikan and over Hakeem as well but thats a bit closer. My top Centers: 1. Jabar 2. Wilt 3. Shaq 4. Russell 5. Hakeem The other two lists in can live with. I would only put the 1 and 2 on both SF and PG and maybe put Pippen a bit higher on SF.
