If they are still open I'll gladly take them.
pm me your email address.

I think I like us to beat all 4 of the options in the poll. If I have to choose one, I am going with us winning at least 1 more game than Chicago. I think their defense takes a big step back this season and there will be growing pains with the new system. Also, will Rose/Noah/Gasol be able to stay healthy.

I still haven't heard from @jrok23
Tickets are still available if any one wants them.

I'm curious to see how the Squawk will answer this one.
-
I would love to go.
PM me your email address

I can't go to the game on Wednesday and would like to give them to a Squawker if any one is interested. They are on the first level.
I will give senior members (at least 500 posts) first dibs until 3pm today and then they are available to any one.

His mixtapes have a more aggressive tone in my opinion. His albums have more of a pop it in and ride kind of vibe. Great artist though.
Big Krit just dropped what I would consider my favorite project from him ever. He really stuck with the classic southern cound on this one and I can't get enough of it. The project is called 'It's Better This Way'
Here's a DL link and a couple of my favorite tracks.

You are seriously the man Dolf.

First time getting to see the team with the new jerseys. So awful. You literally cannot see the jersey numbers on television. That puke yellow/green color blends in way too much with the white jersey.
People are saying the numbers are even less distinct in person.

Michele Roberts says the players union will back Thabo if he chooses to sue the NYPD.
"He had a criminal case and we had to respect that," Roberts said during a question-and-answer session at the espnW: Women + Sports Summit in Dana Point, California. "He now has a civil litigation if he wants to pursue it. I take my lead from him ... but all he has to do is turn me on and I'm gone. I can't even tell you how horrific the experience he had was. It was just dreadful."
Roberts said the union remained relatively quiet while Sefolosha dealt with criminal charges, but believes he "wants to do more" now that he's been exonerated.
"I was outraged when [the incident] happened. We were all outraged when that happened," Roberts said. "We needed to obviously defer to Thabo. We've always taken a backseat and respected what he wants to do and we'll do that going forward. The good news is he does want to do more. And we will do as much as he will allow us to do for him."

Edy does have nice hands though. He can catch bullet passes which is extremely important for a big
Especially when you have his size. Catch a pass anywhere near the rim and it's going in two hand style.
-
I was impressed with Edy's ability to handle that pass from Teague when he was crashing to the rim. A lot of bigs fumble that pass out of bounds. Kid needs some work but there is definitely something there.
What a play from Splitter! Big block with a fullcourt pass for the layup.

I'm gonna be there! Pumped for the first home game!!!
I should be there on Sunday

Ecstatic to see Thabo back in the lineup. No Aldridge or Diaw for SAS tonight so it would be nice if we could actually beat these guys for once.

I should've prefaced what I said with the fact that I don't believe anything Windhorst says unless the puppetmaster aka LeighBron has his hand up his rear-end. Seriously though, there's no reason to suggest he or anyone else at BSPN has any 'sources' reliable enough to suggest his report is accurate.
They clearly had access to internal emails within the Hawks organization. I would join you in calling b.s. on Windhorst's statements if it wasn't for those.

Agree with this. However, what would be the end game for Budz in this scenario. He'd have to also resign. Ferry's not feeding Budz kids. I speculate that it's highly likely he and Ferry discussed how he (Budz) should handle it from his end.
Like, "Look dude, it's looking like I'm (Ferry) gonna be outta here. You have a good thing going, don't blow it just to support me ..." Then they had a heart-felt bro-hug and Ferry throws his war-torn torso onto the grenade as the helicopter whisks Budz away. "I'll never forgetchu, Dannyyyyyyy!1!!1!!"
Yeah, probably went just like that.
Or perhaps the arrogant Ferry burned the Budz bridge on his way out. All in all, we don't know enough to tarnish Budz' name at this point. JMEO
I agree that we don't know enough but what Windhorst suggests is the opposite of your first suggestion. He says that Bud suggested to Ferry that he should step down before the season began and Ferry waited it out until he was fired after the season. It seems like Ferry clearly wanted the job back and had no intentions of willfully stepping down.
It's all speculation and I'm not trying to "tarnish" Bud. He just may not be the Saint that he is portrayed to be around here. At the end of the day, I could really care less as long as he continues to have 60 win seasons and hopefully a better showing in the playoffs.

I am curious about the comment from that ESPN radio interview jetset posted where they mention Bud recommending Ferry resign after Feery went out of his way to get Levenson to hire him. They seemed to be insinuating that Bud threw his Buddy under the bus for more power rather than help him out like Deery did for him. I am not sure what to think about this. Thoughts?
That's what I took from the convo as well and it really makes me question Bud's character. Ferry sticks his neck out for Bud and gets him an interview, Bud bombs it horribly and Ferry pulls out all of the stops and gets Pop on the phone with Levenson during the Finals. Levenson is impressed and gives Bud a second shot and let's Ferry have his way with the Bud hiring. What does Bud do next? He rewards Ferry by getting a DUI in his first month on the job. Ferry stood behind him through it and handed him the keys to a Ferrari that just needed a good bath. I would have to show major loyalty to a guy who did that for me and the last thing I would do is kick him while he is down.
Either way, I'm still ecstatic to have Bud and I hope him and Wilcox are able to take us to the promise land in the next couple of years. I would love to see us win a ring with this group of guys (esp Horford and Teague).

We can't be as good as last year given our win streak but numbers don't measure intangibles
I don't see why not. I agree that we won't replicate the feat of 19 straight wins but I am just as confident that we start the year better than 5-5 and finish much better than 11-10 over our final 21 games.

Mack getting more playing time than Bazemore?
That projection is a good sign that they don't know much about this team.

Fast forward to about 54:30 for an interesting discussion between Zach Lowe and Brian Windhorst about this article.
I was surprised to learn about Budenholzer's first interview. Ferry and Levenson flew to San Antonio during the finals and sat down with Bud for the first time. Bud bombs the interview badly and Levenson has had enough. Ferry insists that Bud is their guy and gets Pop to have a hour long phone conversation with Levenson during the Finals. Levenson is impressed by Pop and gives in, Bud does much better in the second interview and lands the job.

I wouldn't say Ferry is king, but he did build a team that went further than any Nique was ever associated with here.
Exactly. Ferry only had one healthy season with his team and they made it to the ECF's, something Nique couldn't achieve in 12 years as a Hawk.

I bet he's really looking for some positivity after getting whooped by Matt Barnes on Saturday.

Ha! Ah man, that's wrong. Flag on the play, roughing the poster.
Jet is probably feverishly digging up some juicy dirt on you right now. Be afraid.
I'm too lazy + lack of care. I think he's still salty from all times I called him out on his lies when trying to discredit Ferry.

As much as I'm digging the recaps......lol......had to do it.
Touche but don't cherry pick. I wasn't all against them and this still could have been avoided if Thabo didn't start roasting the cop.
