  1. Best news i've heard all day!!! GO HAWKS!!
  2. Hopefully it was just a hyperextension and not an ACL. I agree totally about the concern for this series. It will be very interesting to see how our guys will respond in Game 2.
  3. Agreed. DeMarre's intensity on defense rubs off onto other players which sparks runs for us. I am a firm believer that it is guys like DeMarre Carroll that makes teammates better and ultimately win championships. Even if we are unable to win this series, Coach Bud will be able to regroup in the offseason and hopefully resign DeMarre and Paul Millsap as well as getting rid of everyone's favorite. Pero Antić.
  4. DMC. One of the most hardworking players that I have ever seen that has played for an Atlanta team. The man fought and clawed his way to where he is today dealing with the death of his brother as a child as well as being shot in the ankle defending two teammates. Going into these ECF I really saw DeMarre finding a home in Atlanta. But after watching him tonight roll and writhe in pain on the court as he held his knee almost nearly put tears into my eyes. IDC if people say that we shouldn't resign him and that he will miss a part of the 2016 season. This man has dealt with so much his whole entire life and still deserves that paycheck from the Atlanta Hawks. Maybe i'm thinking worse case scenario and that hopefully DMC only has a hyperextended knee but I fell it in my gut that DeMarre is gonna be out for a while. If Atlanta wants to have repeat success in the playoffs like they are having this year, then we have to resign this man. I am more then willing to wait a year if it means we can get "The Junkyard Dog" back in an Atlanta uniform ASAP. #PrayforDeMarre
  5. SA 38 ft Atl 11 ft Nice win refs... No but in all seriousness both teams played sloppy basketball it just so happened that they got more calls at the end of the day. EVEN THOUGH we played better than them 3/4 of the game. It blows that we lost like that after the refs missed the blown call on Korver, Give Manu the three free throws, give Manu even more free throws on a bailout drive to the hoop, and the list of blown calls in that game go on and on and on. And DONT even get me started on that foul on Teague in the second quarter where they stopped our fastbreak. I know there is no such thing as a moral victory in the NBA. But for us to fight back from having a complete dreadful first quarter is something to look forward to for our game against the Hornets friday. GO HAWKS!
  6. 1. Chicago 2. Cleveland 3. Atlanta 4. Toronto 5. Washington 6. Charlotte 7. Detroit 8. Miami I have Atlanta playing Chicago in the ECF this year. What do you guys think the seeding will look like this upcoming year?
  7. After watching Rose in these USA practices, I can definatley see them being a 1 seed. The man is more explosive than ever. Here is how I see the East falling out. 1. Chicago 2. Cleveland 3. Atlanta 4. Toronto 5. Washington 6. Charlotte 7. Detroit 8. Miami Although I think Cleveland will have a better record than us, I think if we were to play them in the second round, We should be able to beat them in 6 games. Therefore, giving us a birth in the ECF. Pretty sure Chicago is a lock in the ECF unless Gasol or rose sustains an injury like PG did last night.
  8. I think we could possibly contend for a championship with this offensive mindset... IF, we can pick up Patty Mills this offseason, OR draft a player like T.J Warren who can create his own shots to help take the load off teague
  9. Welcome guys! I'm brand new to this website and I'm really excited to start posting content! I'm a teenager right out of Marietta and i've been a hawks fan for about 8-9 years ago! Alright so lets dive into my NBA Draft ideas for 2014! With the 15th pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the ATLANTA HAWKS select... T.J Warren, Small Forward out of NC State The hawks need a wing scorer and someone who can create their own shots. T.J Warren is the perfect anwser to that and was also the 3rd highest scoring player in the NCAA last year. This man can burst onto the scene quickly and with some development, I can see him turning into an all star in the near future. With the 43rd pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the ATLANTA HAWKs select... Mitch McGary, Center out of Michigan When I'm not watching the Hawks im watching Michigan basketball. And BOY does Mitch bring energy to a team. The man plays like his hair is on fire! This man has great size, hustle, and can collect ALOT of boards! Some may question about his back surgery and his recent conviction of Marijuana which lead to his decision to enter the draft but this man attented EVERY game of this past year Michigan Wolverines team and was jumping up and down on the sidelines bringing passion to his team. This man wants to play, and I say lets make him play for Atlanta.
