Honestly I think our starting lineup should be Trae, Bogi, Cam, Collins, Capela. Second team should be Rondo/Dunn, Huerter/Dunn, Hunter, Gallo, Big O. Good mix of scoring and defense on both units. Before anyone says we are paying Gallo 20 mill to come off the bench, he will get 27 to 30 mins off the bench like a starter. Remember all the bums we paid to warm the bench? 20 mill on the bench is nothing. Parsons, Turner, Crabbe, Teague and Plumlee stole money from us for years. I think it justifies the overpay for Gallo for him to be content with an off the bench role.

Bogi doesn't rely on athletism to get the job done like Base did. Uses skill, sound shot mechanics and length to get it done. All of which ages a lot better than pure athletism.

Just is so weird to me people would have been ok paying Hayward 25 and not cool paying Bogi 18. I think he's better than Hayward. Hayward had 2 superstar players and way better supporting cast and put up marginally better numbers. Bogi has been dealing with defenders bigger than him his whole NBA career and gave them business. Put him at SG and watch him take off. Fox is not even on the same planet as Trae with court vision. He will actively look for Bogi and Bogi will pay teams pay severely for trapping Trae. Not to mention, he will play MUCH better defense than Huerter.

This! Why I love this move. He's played SF his whole career despite really being a SG but ALWAYS held more than his own on defense. He's going to bring so much more spacing for Trae sheerly on his aggressiveness on shooting 3s. People are looking at his 3 point percentage but don't see his aggressiveness of shooting that shot. Almost 60% of his shots are 3s. Like 7 or 8 a game. Well defended or not, he can get his shots off due to his quick high release and really is good uncontested. This puts a ton of pressure on the player guarding him to NOT help on traps. Didn't get a lot of uncontested 3s because the Kings spacing is so ass. Will get so many more spot ups here because Trae commands so much attention. It's literally the perfect fit. Not only that, he can give you good mins at the 1 and at the 3.
