The Nets have "mutually" parted ways with Kenny Atkinson. Rumors are that some players wanted him gone (*cough* Kyrie *cough*). All this guy has done is overachieved with his rosters. He can actually coach. I would drop LP in a heartbeat for this guy. I know he's from the Bud coaching tree but this isn't a step back into the past. He knows how to get the best out of his rosters and has the balls to bench anyone not showing effort. What are your thoughts guys?

Yea I would do it if that 2020 pick is protected

Yea it got personal for Bud... But he's in a good place where he is at. We have moved on. I'm just giddy about Trae and Cam combo

Well we also can't live in the past. We had an aging team. We had to move on. We really made the mistake with Bud when we gave him GM power but I digress... We have some really talented young players and I'm excited about this teams future.

Lol. Everyone deserves some conversation right? We are all Hawks fans

Totally agree. Making the playoffs isn't hard. Which is why I think we do. But only if we have some changes with our coaching approach. Terrible rotations, constantly switching, no boxing out, no actual plays being called... All of that needs to stop.

I'm going to have to disagree with you. As currently constructed, we make the playoffs over Orlando if healthy next year. Capela will make a big difference on the offensive boards and Skal is surprisingly efficient when given mins. If Schlenk can add a combo guard (why I want Beasley), a high energy big with switching versatility and spacing (Toppin) and a decent wing, we will be in good shape.

Memphis wasn't good when we played them. We were just playing the worst game I've seen them play this year. Counted at least 4 airballed 3s and 5 missed layups in the first half. Was terrible.

I can agree with you on this bro.

You don't think he had the flu for like a week? The game before our horrendous Memphis game he was showing signs of illness. Sweating profusely but still dropping like 26 at the half.

You do realize we are in the East right? Overtaking Orlando would have been done this year if Collins wasn't suspended. Orlando is ass.

I do like Graham. He can stick if he can work on his 3 and shoot around 36% from 3 next year. His defense, rebounding and overall effort is what this team needs off the bench.

Y'all do realize if Trae played, we win by 15 to 20 right lol.

IMHO, Toppin, Malik Beasley and a solid backup wing and we in the playoffs easily

Did you watch the game? His piss poor effort on defense and rebounding was one of the main reasons we lost...

Yea he was pressing because of lack of point guard play. Teague was the worst player in this game. Again he was a turnstile, he can't pass or provide drive and kick opportunities. At least Goodwin can play D and drive and kick. LPs rotations are absolutely awful.

Nah. Goodwin would have been nice but he was buried on the bench behind Teague all game

Praising Kevin and energy... He fears he lost the team last game and decides to kiss ass to keep them on his side...

Listening to LPs presser makes me sick... "Kevin took a leadership role today"

Last year should tell you tanking won't work anymore. Just need to have a lottery pick. There isn't a difference between being the worst or 3rd worst.

Lots of teaching moments in this game. There are positives. Just have to have a leader who can motivate and teach this young team how to be professionals. LP is not the guy...

Huerter's benching should be a positive for him. He will be the number 1 option on the second unit and can recieve starter mins off the bench. He and Trae don't need to be on the floor together.

Then he has to go. I don't care if we are the worst team in the league, we won't get better with him at the helm.

This. If he don't damn start Cam over Huerter, he needs to be sent packing... Doesn't take a genius to make this move
