Booker is not a point guard. That’s phx problem today thinking he can run point when he can’t .
Like Trae is a traditional point guard...

Yup.
im tired of preaching how you have to have length around Trae or Trae/Dj backcourt.
its getting old but we get beat up by “bully ball” way too often.
Really wish we’d just get some extremely talented physical players in here while we have this short window before Traes next contract.
OR, get some bigger point guards with length. 6'6" point guards are a start...

I remember when DeRozan was leaving the Raptors and I wanted him in Atlanta and this board went haywire talking about how the Hawks didn't need that type of player. Dude is a beast. One of the top get your own shot players in the NBA.

Maybe, just maybe if we had a REAL offense last year he'd run it.
Problem is, Trae was the REASON they couldn't run a offense. He had the most turnovers during the 2021-22 season and finished 13th last season. Every HOTDOG in the league was in the top 5: Trae had the most turnovers in 2021-22 with 303 turnovers.

People don't want to hear it but Trae this year is way better than last year just off the fact that he's running the offense. The two games he didn't, we lost.
Exactly! They want the 30 point a night, do the" Ice Trae Shimmy " Trae Young which was a very inefficient way of running a offense. Saying the other team members "stepped up" is a bold lie and yet another attempt to place Trae on a pedastal. I will say this, Trae KNOWS he better get in line and he has because he can't fire a third head coach or a second GM.

Other people had to step up and score though, for him to do that. We're seeing others step up this season.
Like OO knocking down 2 threes in a row. Even Collins wasn't doing that last season.
You can't step up if you can't get a rhythm because your point guard doesn't run the offense. THATS the difference. Quinn has him running the offense. I try to give the guy credit and you STILL dump on the rest off the team.
